People are forgetting that what he did is the whole point on why he did it. He wanted to her to hate him with every fiber of her body. And while he said some things he didn’t do much of anything he said. The confinement part is also most likely because he knew the ex was still alive and that she’ll try to find him. I don’t like that he assaulted her, I feel there could have been other ways around that. I’m curious on how the author will handle this since it’s literal worse or worser. It could end with the ex winning and completely brainwashing her, or it could be that the blonde woman giving her a title and dissolve the marriage. There’s many ways this could go, all in all.
