I think many people are on her side because she’s a woman. For me I think both parties are wrong. Because for one she should talk and tell whats truly happening. She was a princess, she should hold herself with more dignity. She’s letting herself be treated anyway and that’s not okay.
While for her husband he’s been traumatized and the only thing he truly know is to make money and survive. Yes he shouldn’t project his how trauma and troubles on to her and their marriage but he can’t really be blamed since she never really didn’t communicate properly with him. He don’t understand that his actions are troubling and that’s why she acts the way she acts. He needs counseling just like her. He’s a block so if you want to get through his skull you need to be blunt and honest and she’s not doing that.
In conclusion there’s a lot of misunderstanding that the two obviously not trying to share with each other so of course they’ll be toxic for each other. Do I think winter is in the right? Absolutely not, he’s basically gaslighting her. But you can’t blame someone who don’t know what’s going on. He’s just reacting how he was brought up and it’s obvious no one really tried to correct or scold him properly.

You’re right, except for the fact that she never tried to communicate properly with winter. The problem is that he never made time for her, so she probably never had the opportunity to properly talk with him. The way I see it, he neglected her for 3 years. But I think the real fault lies in the society that brought them up this way. It is really unfair how the Winter suffered in a poor environment while Violet grew up happily. Still, I think it would be difficult for Violet to stand up for herself, especially when everyone is against her, even her own family. Both sides are still in the wrong. That’s just my opinion though..

Idk maybe it’s just be being a very vocal person but if I have something to say and it’s too me very important I’ll say it no matter how or when I get to say it. In this situation I’ve seen a few chances where she could of said something or at least hinted at something but decided to stay silent. She was a princess with a fairly happy life til yk what happened. She assumed she grew up being vocal since she was able to talk her way into a deal
