I dislike the way he’s insensitive about Minato’s feelings and spending half a day at the cafe with his boss eating sweets. And he just went along with it when he had plans with Minato.

Other than that he’s a green flag.

i don’t believe he was being insensitive about it as he didn’t even know what was bothering him in the first place because minato wouldn’t talk to him. Now he knows and I think he might set some boundaries with his boss. It’s not like he was deliberately going out with his boss, he was basically pressuring him into going with him and as someone who is new to his job and has it threatened he went along with it

Shizuma already knows about his trauma and he should know how Minato can be. He wasn’t threatened to go with the boss either to the cafe. Shizuma couldn’t just said he’s busy and left. And there’s no “he’s new and scared to talk back to boss” excuse because we already saw him shutting the boss up for disrespecting their relationship.

He’s being quite insensitive not just what I mentioned but also taking his feelings lightly and finding his jealousy/insecurity cute.

But he is trying I guess.

I feel like the reason people here are so supportive of Minato is because despite him having a huge and incredibly toxic flaw he trys his best to overcome it. He is self-aware that he has a jealousy problem and does his best to not let it consume him. He's not perfect, but he's on the right path and he's doing his best.

Shizuma, on the other hand, still thinks his biggest issue is that he works long hours. The cafe scene is a perfect example. Shizuma is sitting there feeling like shit for trying to think of a lame excuse for being late, yet it never even crossed his mind that the actual issue is that he's unable to tell his boss he'd really rather get back to the clinic than watch them shove donuts down their pie-hole. Shizuma's trying his best, but he needs to figure out that his people pleasing is what's causing issues and start working on it. Until that happens it'll continue to be the biggest source of friction in the relationship

Minato should definitely communicate but Shizuma should also help by setting boundaries, he can do that, he just isn’t doing it.
