Minority
Aw I reckon this to be quite nostalgic once a few years have passed, I will never forget this bittersweet feeling that I felt reading this manhwa. It's a bitter thought that Jinhyuk and Heechan still cannot yet get married although they've been together for more than a decade. I literally watched them grow up and mature, and that's the charm of this manhwa. Being able to peek into their daily lives, thoughts, and realities were enough to hook us in to the depths of their characters, and it's also bittersweet to think about how they've all grown up. Those high school kids getting their own families and independent lives is such a sentimental thing. I have to admit, some parts of this manhwa broke me. As realistic as this is, it's inevitable to go our own separate ways with people we get used to, and that memories should truly be treasured well. <33
To Heechan, who gave his all to be worthy of Jinhyuk's love, to him who never gave up, to him who loved Jinhyuk amidst all his flaws, his kindred heart getting advantaged of was heartbreaking. As painful as it is, these troubles and tribulations are what people experience in real life.
To Jinhyuk, to him who never expressed his emotions outwardly well, to him who couldn't choose between career and love, to him who found himself while searching for his love, to him who never gave up. To my smart, sarcastic, and melancholy friend. I hope they would be able to tie the knot soon. :((
Songs I listened to while reading this that I think suits them are: Limbo, There's Nothing Holding Me Back, Enchanted, Teardrops On My Guitar, So Let's Go See The Stars, There, Right There! Ao no Sumika, and YOUTH! Not necessarily in that order, though. <33
The misunderstandings here really shows that people often just assume whatever they want—which most of the time we imagine the worst—and that's quite the unhealthy habit. Especially if the person we're worrying about is apart from us, with nothing to reach them. Honestly, this was a rollercoaster ride. I feel like their high school to college to employment was depicted very well, how some dreams come true and how some remains a dream to look forward to. Is it that obvious that I love this? Such a magnificent piece. I'll forever hold them in my heart.
Bad Contact
I hate how this is disgustingly cute !!!! Yes it's a bit fast-paced, BUT HEY IT'S ENJOYABLE AND WHOLESOME NONETHELESS. Jaeha was falling for Do Young whilst unaware HAHAHA and anyway Hyun IS cute and good-looking though. His first love was replaced with his greatest, how touching. HAHAHHA THE PINING HERE IS CRAZY, AND THE WHOLE LOVE RIVALS TO FRIENDS TO LOVERS ORDEAL IS GREAT, I never knew I could ever like that trope. So yep this was utterly cute and a good fast read.
Hello Again (Cho Bom)
This is cutteeee! I love how all the sweetness and love are packed well in 3 short chapters, without the need to further the plot.! The brother IS handsome though, undeniably...!!! HWHSHAHHA BUT HONESTLY I'M HAPPY FOR HEEMIN THAT HE DOESN'T HAVE AN UNREQUITED LOVE.
