why cant we just put thisbe in court? theres no evidence she did it aside from the "oh she must hate the saint thats why she did it" rumors.
why cant we be toxic and start another rumor that the saint is actually the culprit and is making it seem like thisbe is doing it so that the saint could look like a benevolent angel or smth? isnt this the ml's plan at first? to push the blame onto the saint? start the rumors, you could plant evidences later
why cant we let the authorities catch the culprit themselves? wouldnt it be weirder that the main suspect would suddenly come out with the real culprit? wouldnt there be rumors that she staged everything to avoid the blame?

surely the saint could also see the rumors right? if she really like our fl then why cant she set the records straight and say that thisbe has never harrassed her?
