It's cute with nice art but it's just so... bland. In Volume 2 we could've seen them developing a more serious/adult relationship, but it's just them having sex. What about the brother/sister/friends finding out they're dating?! How come they never tell their relationship to people... We didn't even have the usual jealousy conflict to spice things up. Overall a boring story saved by its great artstyle.

vol 2 being like that is pretty much the point. it's meant to showcase a "pure love untainted by logic" throughout the years. also, ryo's and kanta's friends do eventually find out about their relationship in the physical bonuses. kanta's friends found out by their vibe, while ryo outright introduces kanta as his boyfriend
i do wish we got more tho, there's so much to tell

I can understand why you’d feel that way but I personally liked it! I think I can find major conflict in literally every other story, it’s not bad to have some simply sweet stories. Especially considering this is not super long. I found the simplicity to be rather heartwarming! Idk, rather than boring did you not feel a little bit of butterflies or giddiness? Though it’s also fine if this is not your cup of tea!
the protagonist looks so much like the nameless boy from to your eternity (fumetsu no anata e), and the ambience in general is also reminescent. this is his good ending
I thought the same thing!! Did you see the new season just started?
