i actually shed a tear for the emperor and touka... the emperor looked truly warm and bright. but i feel like their love is just doomed, we don't even know if it was ever reciprocated to begin with. touka controls and puppeteers a whole empire for the slim chance his beloved might come back to him. it's just so sad ( T﹏T ) where's he going at the end of chapter 8?
this reminds me soo much of usual shoujo tropes, it's kinda rare to see in a bl manga. the very innocent pure hearted lead x traumatized brooding love interest who pushes the other away until they realize they fell deep in love XD
Just to let everyone know: this manga has been licensed by Yen Press, official title being "If It's You, I Might Try Falling in Love", and naturally the scan group won't be continuing their translation. Volume 2 releases on August 26th, with a gap of 5 months from the first volume. As such, we should expect Volume 4 to come out 10 months from now, around June of 2026. If you like this manga and are able to, buy the official English version to support the mangaka. (๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

holy miscommunication final boss. nogami can't establish boundaries, so their love developed in a non-organic way. it was so uncomfortable when kume thought he could stay at his house and canceled his visits, but nogami didn't say anything for a fear to offend him. then kume just assumes he's seeing the ex wife and runs away?? i'm not satisfied...
i feel like a needed translation context is that when shin says "i'm dead" (ore wa shin da) he's actually saying "i'm shin" but shin and the verb die (shinu) are very similar, so that's why haru thought he was saying he's dead lol
whatt?! this is totally a hidden gem! we could use some side stories to see more lovey dovey moments, but the story progression was really nice and the characters are also very realistic and not stereotypical. actually we needed a volume 2 to explore more of kyouya's life (like his family, his job, we never see more of his apartment etc)
honestly the art style is so nice but the whole focus on the erectile dysfunction thing was throwing me off wish we saw more of the sisters too
this... can't be the end, right? art is great but damn we just lost the shamaness powers like that? why not just pass the power along to become human again? we need a volume 2 asap
