this one hit hard, which is saying somethings as it's rather short. as that person on reddit said (warned), there are definitely major banana fish vibes from this. i am an absolute sucker for angst and banana fish is probably my favorite anime ngl so ofc i had to read it. i really enjoyed (but also suffered bc of) how the story explored both character's backstories and traumas and the nuances of their relationship within a short span of chapters. ofc i think the characters and their relationships could've been developed even further had there been more to the story, but i think it's great regardless. it didn't exactly hit me in the same way that banana fish did.
