What exactly is the point of this story? "Chandler" has always had the ability to take care of himself, as shown repeatedly how he immediately threatened Whatever Gu.

Supposedly he went through with the marriage with "Susan" because he needed her to...shield him? From the Gu Family?!???? Shield him from WHAT, again?

He nearly destroyed both Whatever Gu and that idiot, besotted Niece Gu (who keeps viciously trying to get his attention) with just one word to the Gu Family's board of directors. (Ugh. I fucking hate the English names so much.)

"Susan" was never needed in the first place. "Chandler" is invincible in the business world. So, him acting like a whole ass circus around "Susan", claiming only to "use her", makes zero sense unless we're supposed to see him as a psychopath?

"LAUREN"?!?!?!?

In ancient fantasy CHINA!?!? This is such a shitty localization effort. Ugh.
