for anyone who feels bad for the prince and his friends read chapter 3 and 14. chapter 3 explains that while the poition can make affection for the person out of thin air it CAN'T brainwash people or make them lose their minds they willingly went along with the star maidens plans and quickly turned over to her side because they felt inferior to emi thats where chapter 14 comes in with the prince reflecting on all that happened and showing how delulu he really is because those are his real thoughts not the result of brainwashing sane for those other guys she helped them all and they fucked her over
