Had a bit of a slower start, but really great plot and characters/character development. You really feel yushin's journey as he slowly grows as a person and gradually finds his humanity as a fish with jihye. All of the fish knowledge was mixed in really well and you could tell the author knew what they were talking about. It was smooth and situations always made sense in how they resolved themself without reliance on plot armour/deus ex machina so that was really refreshing, especially when compared to a lot of isekai out there. The enemies were well matched for the mc, and the final boss was built up excellently, with just enough hints/foreshadowing while still keeping it interesting for the final reveal. The 4th wall break at the end was also gold lmao.
Honestly a really good read on all fronts, with a lot more depth to it than I initally anticipated considering the title lol
Main couple is cute but everyone around them is annoying af istg. It's as Saeki said to his manager, they're treating them like products/commodities rather than actual fcking people. Just because they work for an agency doesn't mean that they can mamipulate all aspects of their lives as they see fit. I'm especially disappointed in their managers who should be workinf closely enough with them to understand them as people and so to completely disregard everything that they want in favour of what the company/managers want/think is best is just blech
Their "friends" too, like couldn't they both at least have one person that's there for them to actually hear them out and support them and be their actual friend? Especially having such busy careers and stressful schedules, idk it seems just a bit too forced and it takes away from the story for me.
