I like these types of zombie stories, they just express how humanity would actually regress too in such a situation, the elites will already existent greedy for power and money will just be amplified in such a situation.
Most of what's happening in this story can be connected to our current situations whether they are civil issues, political issues, humanitarian issues, poverty, the abuse of big pharmacy and big health organizations, and so much more.
I overall I really love this story I hope MC bbg and ML bug guy end up together whichever way they end (till death do us part I hope)
Also this reminds me of another yaoi where the ML got infected with the virus that made humans have extreme aggression and mutations but he worked with MC and made a cure. In the final chapter they kissed under the rain and it was beautiful

No, it was an apocalypse yoai that was like a zombie apocalypse but instead of regular zombies it was a virus that made humans extremely aggressive with extremely bodily abnormalities that caused them to be an extreme threat.
it has something to do with rain since the big money greed guys covered the safe city in a tech dome and the only way the MC and ML saved the city way to break the dom or disengage it and shoot the antidote into the rain clouds, essentially saving the planet and they kissed under the rain (at least that's what I remember)
