so i have pet peeve that when people hate on female characters just because theyre female. but tbh yura is really useless to storys plot, theres like only a few people read this for the shounen ai tag so pls dont use that as a excuse. the plot doesnt even make sense at this point. yeosob is telling story to a detectives, how in the world does he supposed to know half of this shit when hes doing a mental breakdown at home? i really enjoy psychological mangas/manwhas but this is just getting stupid. and yeah, shes relatabe but only because shes a girl and most people who read this are also girls. most girls wont bully a friend stay at their house just because theyre talking to their older brother, and most girls dont slice boys eyes because their hurt their brother. this is common sense. yura is only in here to show how far yeosob will take this. plus, hes rarely show at all and its so damn annoying. i get shes been through stuff but seriously? yeosob got beat by his both parent and could not even express emotions for a long time yet people compare him to yura? the things he do are wrong, yes. but its a psychological. this isnt killing stalking all over again, no one is confused yeosob and jaeha as a couple, okay? people are mainly pissed becuase yeosob, the MAIN CHRACTER, is shown more than a girl who is probably dead in present time. if people want to interpret this as bl then okay, but dont use that as an excuse to defend yura because her story is do fucking useless in the plot. no one wants yeosob and jaeha to end up together, they want a thrilling end to see who yeosob kills and how he did it. sorry for the rant, i just needed to get it out of my system ( ̄∇ ̄")

what he tells to the detectives isn't literally all that's been shown in the story. the ''prologue'' was simply a means for a good transition to unfold the full story. (⌒▽⌒)
also, yura is relatable because ''shes a girl and most people who read this are also girls''? how can you tell for sure? i mean, if i'm basing it on stereotypes, i'd say that guys would tend to be the dominant reader when it comes to horror, thriller, or psychological. plus, personally, i'd say that she'd have been relatable because of her unfortunate situation. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
moreover, i don't think her story was ''useless'' in the overall plot at all. i mean, i'm not the biggest fan of her story, but it does give depth for the characters and the story as a whole. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
though, i would agree that i wish to see yoseob more, but i'm fine with the current flow of the story since i love their interactions with each other and how things would escalate to the bloody present. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

aw thank you for have a actual civilised disagreement with me (barely people ever do that when i talk like that) also im sorry if the relatable thing confused you, what i meant by it is most girls will relate to her rather than taeho, yeosob, or jaeha because what they are do is just not very usual for females, the only other "main" characters just arent relatable because of their situations and pasts while yura is just suffer from not even very sever depression and bullying which yes, does happen a lot and i do feel sorry for her about that as someone who suffered from an similar situation. and yes i know physiological and horror manwhas or even books are more directed to a male audience but because of the shounen ai tag on mangago i really doubt boys will want to reading a bl manwha if theyre looking for psychological/mystery/thriller only, even if there is just an sprinkle of it. but then again who knows, maybe they still will want to read this.
and honestly i dont really think a lot are going through her situation. she doesnt like being around boys after finding out that theyre using her just to be pervs, she get in an argument with her "friend" seungmi just to realize the girl is using her just for popularity, then slowly she becomes friend with a boy shes only talk with a few times? it just doesnt seem really relatable to me. the part with seungmi but other than that I dont really see it. also, i forgot to correct myself but when i said her story is useless i meant the romance between her and jaeha, its like the author just is throwing out there and to say "hey, jaeha is straight and he has crush on this cute girl that strangely looks like a foreigner but isnt". but i do still think shes too focused on for just a side main chracter (is that what you call them?), it just looks like a drama rn instead of a psychological.
i get the part that shes a girl and a lot of girls say curse words, arent sluts, and get guy friends that acting like taeho a lot but didnt they mention smth about her parents having a lot of money(?) like wouldnt a family like that at least teach theyre daughter not to swear? her chracter is kinda a mess, its just like one of those reverse cliche things that end up also turning into cliches. like how it first was "bad boy and good girl" but now we also have "bad girl and good boy". but instead the chracter for females was "sweet and caring" (ex. snow white) but now its "swears 24/7 and doesnt need a prince charming". and ik some people like those type of chracters but im just not into it, thats just my opinion.
also thank you for the info on the detective thing, i honestly didnt know

i see. from my point of view though, her exact circumstances isn't what made people relate to her. i mean, more or less, all people have differing situations, but the general thought of being bullied, of helplessness, or of betrayal is perhaps why many readers can relate to her, and sympathize to an extent. (︶︿︶)
she does seem like a very big gear in the upcoming events, as far as things go. her role in jaeha's and yoseob's relationship isn't to show how jaeha is straight, but rather how jaeha has romantic feelings for another person, and how it would affect yoseob. yoseob wants his brother all to himself, but now that his brother is slowly detaching himself from him, he's becoming more and more ''unstable'', threatening and/or getting rid of nuisances to him and his brother's relationship.
well, she may seem like a mess for now. i'm not really sure if her backstory is inconsistent or not, but from how i see it, the yura we see in the story right now is the yura after being betrayed – the real yura underneath the shell, so to speak. she became from a generally superficial and kind person into a rather blunt and harsh person, seemingly showing no fear now on speaking what's really on her mind.
she doesn't need a prince charming exactly, but rather a support from breaking down – a real friend, through and through. that's why she could reveal her true self to taeho because she feels that she has nothing to hide from him, and that maybe she feels like he could accept that part of her.
anyway, i may have gotten some things wrong but overall, that's just my take on the matter.ヾ(☆▽☆)
i know everyone's arguing about the tag or whatever but can i just say how much i fucking hate the name alto? you are not a god damn saxaphone, fuck off.
Omg i am SO glad someone agrees! I think the name Alto for him is so weird. Especially during sex when he calls him Alto in his girl form it's just a turn off dude. Like hearing a girl being called Alto is just... it's like a non Christian going to church. Its awkward. Even when he's not in his girl form, I just think the name is kinda weird.
