Why can't characters ever just beat the shit out of someone? For once I'd like a character to have a back bone and just deck the abuser in the face or a good ol' throat punch. It's like authors romanticize abuse and trauma and just make it worse for the character. This arc needs to wrap it up.
Theres 2 options, 1: he backs away and ml has subconscious feeling of dread or 2: he doubles down and gives him a bunch of attention
Idky the head family can threaten him like lord mugo wouldn't just kill them off. Obviously mugo likes him and that's why he hasn't killed him.
