dont lose hope i've seen a manhua named after a character and revolve around the character's story yet the said character didnt end up as the ML (and i thank god everyday for that dude was shit ngl i didnt see it coming i even dropped it for some time cuz i thought he was end game)

I'm still not done with the webtoon, but so far, it feels different, fresh. I love how it tackles the problems women used to (and some still) face not so long ago. I mean, women started to work for themselves just recently, marriage was the only way they could sustain themselves. So, more than a love story this is a story about women, and I love it for that
I love how she doesn't naively try to enforce her reformation mindset unto others. She's adept with politics, and uses that to its utmost advantage to nudge society into a hopefully more empowering environment for her girls.

someone mentioned that the mermaid actually falls in love with a different female character (and love blossoms!!) in this story, not so sure if true but I sire hope so!
Haha, good joke, it's a dead genre, unless you want the character to appear as a mermaid in the first page then transform and stay human to the end with no mermaid lore besides "they need water". Also if you don't want it to be smut, I'm sorry, but you have to dig for so long

I LOOOVE this manhwa man, aside from the struggle for power, which I love as well, the way they explore the relationship between Dojoon and his grandpa is top , How Dojoon cares for him and the grandpa sees him as someone capable of inheriting the company. and now Dojoon tried to protect him from the accident This is great
I loved the premise, I really tho, but the way the story develops is another thing completely.
I feel that this plot would have worked better if it was more of a thriller than a pink BL, or if the crazy emperor died at the end.
I loved the characters, especially Daniel and his motives, and also Raels selflessness. Hell, I even liked the crazy emperor a little, but I wished he was more of a villain than the ML
