I’m only saying something cuz that person literally gave you the raws and you were like those aren’t raws. That’s why these are called “English translations.” If there is a translated version, there is a native or RAW, unedited version. Literally, just look up the exact question, “what does raw manga mean”

Oof, i didnt think there'd be discord in my comment. But in a sense, you're not completely wrong when you say this - raws *are* chs that have yet to be translated. However, saying that raws are *only* chs that haven't been translated is where you're wrong.

The better and more correct meaning of raws are that they're the *original* chapters. In context, if you're reading a translated version, all untranslated chapters from beginning to end are considered raws because they're the *original* chapters in their *native* language, hence "raw."

YES THANK YOU. That is exactly what I was trying to say. Raws just means original, untranslated version of it. For a translated version to even exist, there had to have been raws.
