I just marathon all the chapter today. And it's been awhile since I've been this close to strangle 2D character.

I love when side story sometimes include other couple,
Lately, I don't really like reading pwp as side story.
I felt like try to commit s**cide is more tragic than running away.
So, I kinda like how she made him think she died.
But, I think that particular scenario is broke me inside. (What it means to be you truly traumatized me deeply)
I understand her for wanting to run away or even want a divorce. But run away is only the answer if the opponent is someone abusive and can't be reason with.
I think what best for her right now is be with her dad to heal, but still under protection. Because if she just went, she's just going to be in danger because of the current state of her husband political stand.
After that, she can do whatever she wants, wether to get a divorce or just ghost him. I don't like that path, but I understand.
I usually didn't love war arc, because my head can't comprehend the art of war or military strategies.
But, I love this soooooo much.
That's a bad move. A BIG BAD MOVE.
A mom who lost her unborn child should NOT be left alone.
But it's the exact reason why I NEVER like tsundere.
Why a foul-mouthed, and dishonest girl get to take the MC?
But at least, the MC here is rooting for the nice girl. More justice to a soft girl!
I don't know, if you have to choose between your spouse's life or both their life, what kind of outcome did you expect?
Did the ML is supposed to search for a doctor or pharmacist all around the world, meanwhile both his wife and unborn child is sick?
Did he supposed to pray for a miracle?
I think it's the logical solution, but after all the things he's done and the fight beforehand, I kinda understand her grief.
And I'm going to say it again, he's an arrogant prick, but he's not that bad. At least he never said that he's a good person.
First, Shannon my baby, I hope you'll be happy this time with the priest.
And then the uncle. This guy is the exact epitome of "I rather have a genius as an enemy rather than an incompetent fool as a a friend.'
The moment the cliff appears, i thought to myself, "doesn't the mount hua's sect climb that every single day?"
No matter how stupid the reason is, to make a school that lower nobility and commoner can attend is actually really great. Because it isn't targeted for higher nobility, everyone can study and learn without offending the one in higher status.
But I kinda like him explaining what kind a man he is to her, instead of sugarcoat and did something bad behind her back and keep her in the dark.
The most important thing to him right now is Chloe. And with his twisted mind, he justified everything to keep her by his side.
And I kinda like him for that. Well, he really is a psychopath, not just author-claimed psychopath, but a real one. Is it bad that I prefer this to other 'villain' ML?
