And they sort of drifted and his feelings started to shift to seeing her more as a friend or sister than a romantic partner. But I'd have to reread to be sure rip. Been ages.

Wowowow I'm really pissed at this guy. Because of the whole thing with him and the company she was uncomfortable and left. Who knows if she'll continue them at another company. I can only hope. It's also explained in the posts on here already.
