Can mangakas stop making the female characters so useless? Like only 3 girls are able to protect themselves. Aoi's defenselessness makes no sense either. If she was kidnapped or went missing at 14 wouldn't she have made it her priority to be able to defend herself???? Like its degrading. I don't think its too much to ask to have some of the female cast being proactive in saving themselves.
Take for example the girl Tachibana is protecting, in the flashback she sees the opposing team members surround Tachibana in the bathroom, instead of getting help, she storms in there and offers herself up in exchange for Tachibana's safety!? What!???
The guys are problematic too. Except for like Tachibana and Eiji, most of them are impulsive and don't think. How does it make sense to charge into a stronghold made up of 100s of people with no plan???? It'd be nice for the characters to think for once.

A simple and effective plan would tp set that entire village and forest ablaze and within the chaos rescue their classmates and other friends. Take the clothing of the islanders that ambushed them before to blend in and continue the plan. Its only the strong vs. the weak because of how simple-minded the islanders are, but the tides can turn int the favor of the survivors if they use their heads.

Found a plantation??? Destroy it. See the main water supply, poison it with the decaying bodies they found in the cave. A storehouse for food? Burn it to the ground. Remember that the island doesn't have doctors, use that information to your advantage!?? Get weapons and soak them in the blood of the dead bodies they found in that cave. I was honestly in awe(in a bad way) how not a single person thought to arm themselves with any makeshift weapon they could find on the ship once they figured out the islanders were hostile.

Like a lot of shit that's happening in the manga is for literal shock value. When the blond kid was fighting the dude that tried to rape and ended killing his friend, I didn't understand why he didn't kick him in the dick, stomp on it, then on his head!? His dick was out like a literal target and never aimed for it!? Tachibana was actually killing them, which is basically why he's one of the few characters names I remember.

Honestly, the kids need to start taking the weapons and the hides of the islanders they kill. And the girls need clothes. Why are they (the ones not captured) walking around with so little clothing while the boys are all dressed? Again, take the clothes for dead, wash em, and use them. This is getting ridiculous.

I binged read the shit out of this in 2 days, and dayyyyyum. Im in love already, the characters are adorable and I love how they represent S&M here. 10/10 would recommend ;)
