In the novel, when Yujin (guy with purple hair) goes to talk with Hyo and offer him advice, there's an esper flirting with Hyo (he doesn't get it tho) and Yujin teases him about it. Then they talk a bit about previous relationships and how being a guide would suck if you dislike intimate relationships and is forced into them, which is Hyo's case, to which Yujin sympathises and doesn't ask further bcs he senses Hyo had a difficult past.
I think it was a nice glimpse into Hyo's backstory that we lost in the manhwa and also justifies a bit his actions and the next arc... Now we'll have to wait quite a bit to hear about his past again.

he acts like a bitch just to end up actually getting fond of hyoseop it's cute how he keeps him company while hyo is at their base and by the end of the novel he likes hyo more than andante lmao i love this kind of character

guys i finished the novel this night and yeah is pretty much torture porn with a little bit of plot by the end.

what to expect:
jiwook gets gangr-ped twice and juyeon locks him inside an extra room in his home for like two months doing all sorts of plays. he even has to pee on those dog things you have in your house for your dog to pee.

why is juyeon doing this:
when he was like just 14 he hanged around jiwook and confessed to him, then jiwook did all sorts of terrible things w/ juyeon, like r-ping him and sending the tape to juyeons mother who had a mental breakdown after it. there was gangr-pe and all sorts of stuff. he tied juyeon in a bathroom with some vibes and left for the school guards to find him etc. jiwook then got into an accident and forgot everything so he doesn't remember doing that to juyeon. so juyeon spend 8 years plotting his revenge...and thats what we are reading now.

yeah they end up together but its tagged as no-love so do not expect the plot to get softer or anything. it really just gets worse

theres a few changes from the novel and the manhwa, its interesting! ex: in the novel jun tells a guy to go get the milk and a chapter later when hes at the top of the school hierarchy he "rewards" the guy with a bit of social status. its nothing much but it really captures jun's spirit of not owning anyone anything... im just ranting because the novel is really, really good (one of the most beloved bls in korea!!!), the manhwa is a very nice adaptation, very fluid

he was awake and now he know jigu likes him, but jigu also thinks mc likes him back and both keep hanging out for a while waiting for the other to confess first (mc wants jigu to confess so he can turn him down bcs he wants them to still be friends), so it will take some time before they start dating

yohan is like. really crazy.
one example is when he fights junwoo, they both end up on the hospital (junwoo has to be taken bcs hes almost dead while yohan calmly walks to the ambulance lmao), when yohan comes back he gifts jun two of junwoo's teeth that he knocked off during the fight lmao
but yeah yohan is crazy crazy crazy, but jun is also a freak so they match very well
