This dad is so fucking dumb. Who is exactly whose master?
The dad who only acts like a gangster, or the son who actually runs the entire damn company? I know this is fiction, but kings who are extremely out of touch with the reality of their power structure are kings who get their head chopped off by the actual powerbrokers.
I started reading this and honestly this story gets me so angry on behalf of the uke. I'm like 5 chapters in, and so far its been constant gaslighting of the uke.
It's like the worst aspects of toxic masculinity, rape culture, and victim blaming wrapped together behind a veneer of comedy. It's not even a one shot where I can simply forget it once I finish.
Does it get better?????
If only there could be a situation where the King of Hell officially announces his support for this marriage. Ahahahaha talk about marriage alliances. What's more powerful than a marriage alliance with actual divinity
4/5 stars
I went into this thinking the characters were going to be utter trash.
Gangster guy didn't go full psycho, he suddenly realized his pet had a love interest and tried/failed to win his heart. Stepped aside like a real man.
Uke can't defend himself out of guilt. Well, if you SA him, he might knife you lol. And he isn't brainless enough to realize that he liked Prosecutor guy more genuinely than gangster guy.
Prosecutor guy seemed innocent enough, and I think the author tried to make him more cunning and attempt to pin the blame on gangster guy. Probably the only consistent guy in thr story.
Honestly it's pretty funny
It's one of the few stories nowadays where the seme isn't some edgelord with anger management issues. And the uke is relatable. As a 27 year old man myself, the panels about the home mortgage hit too close to home.
I laughed because I wonder if the author knows just how much rancor this story has created. And then they go ahead to put out a cutesy author's note on top of this last chapter.
If the comments section of some random aggregator site is filled with angry people, I wonder what are the comments in the official sites.
Why is the dad such a freak? His son is running the company "well", and yet all we ever see is the dad fucking shit up.
The other teammates, except for the youngest, are hella stupid. Your main vocalist just left the company because the CEO caught him about to start a bar fight at a club, potentially derailing the debut.
The CEO and the Board stick someone who can sing, but not dance, as an emergency replacement. That guy also happens to have worked with the CEO for 7 years and clearly has the CEO's support. Instead of engaging in teamwork, the two older members instead try to drive him from the group. Does nobody see the obvious stupidity?
My dudes, you should be bringing this guy up to speed for your own sakes!?
Bro. What are you doing.
Your crush has to literally show you his Big Dick Imprint and you still can't connect the dots.
The uke feels so.....unlikable. I get that he was taken advantaged off, but his intercations with other people just come across as childish. It is simply unprofessional behavior to talk to a co-worker like that. You reserve that sort of discourse for the written performance review, not to dress someone down like that and thereby bring down team morale and trust.
If only people actually believed in and acted upon what this guy was talking about.
Instead, we get people uploading fight videos to WorldStar for clout. Some woman in Philadelphia gets raped on a train, and no one acts and just records it on the phone.
If only, if only.
Seme is one of those rare green flags. He's buff and gives an icy impression, but he's....actually kinda decent???
