Well, while Penelope is unconscious little duke tries to say that Penny was trying to poison Yvonne, then Vincent/Vinter defends Penny because she just drank the poison (Vinter had the antidote since he was the provider of the poison Penny had)
They go back and forward since Vinter told them she knew it was poison and willingly drank it.
Little duke insists on then poisoning attempt on Yvonne but Callisto shuts him up saying that how could she know he would bring the bitch to the event?
Anyway little duke tried to say that that is how Penelope seeks attention but Duke and Renald tried “defend” her saying she would go that far.
Callisto is the one who defends our Penny the most and Vinter helps too, the prince decides to do an investigation and tells them that “bitch” (Yvonne) needs to be investigated, too!
After Penelope is on bed for like three days the Prince needs to go to settle some small war (I honestly don’t remember this well) and whispers to her that she can’t die and that when he comes back he will give her whatever kind of love she wishes for, and to please don’t die.
Penelope enters a hidden route of the game, so she doesn’t die and she wakes up after a week. She learns thought her maid that Callisto would not leave her side and every night he would whisper to her things while holding her hand.
Anyway when she wakes up they do an interrogation and she admits she drank it.
They asked why and she says she wanted to die because she was tried of everything and to please let her go (like to leave the Duke’s state)
The duke and Renald get very emotional and duke starts sweet talking to her saying that she is his baby daughter and that he isn’t mad at her and she isn’t in trouble, that she doesn’t have to go anywhere. Renald tells her if she wanted the attention and the position ans the lady of the duke state why leave now? Something like that, Renald is super emotional, he really cares for Penny. Little duke gets angry at her comment and gets fucking annoying saying she can’t leave and Renald tells him to shut the F up.
Anyway it’s chaos all around. More things unfold after this, I love this kind of drama tho.
