If you keep reading for the plot I advice you to just drop this all together.
So many questions go unanswered in the end, i like smut but it's clear that the plot was left unfinished and unresolved to just show more boobs and ass...
The moment they started giving the characters more personality, depth and progress they immediately throw it away for more smut.
At some point I was just skipping whole chapters because it was just smut even though they were thissss close
Is no one here capable of thinking?? Did ANYONE read this manhua at all???
Like wtf is wrong with you guys??? Does NO ONE understand what is actually going on in the manhua? Cuz when i read the comments, the Siwon you guys are talking about is a whole other character then he is in the manhua.
Maybe before you go and wish him to get beaten up or die or something, reread the manhua and THINK. Does no one have any empathy at all?
Here, have some questions and think:
Is Siwon emotionally stable?
Does he have high self-esteem?
Does Siwon like himself the way he is or the way he wants to be?
How did he feel about his family not accepting his passion for art?
If Siwon would come out as gay, would his parents accept him? Would society (south-korea) accept him?
Is Siwon strong enough to go ahead and resume making art and announce that to the whole world?
Is Siwon independent from society and doesnt give a fuck like Kang Jinha?
If all you answers where negative or no, then CONGRATULATIONS! YOU ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT'S GOING ON!(▰˘◡˘▰)
Though I support what you said, I must say that Kang Jinha really does give a fuck about Siwon. He did what was best - for the time being. Unlike other semes who suddenly stop speaking to the uke so that the uke will cry and beg him to come back after a certain point of time, Jinha sat down with Siwon and actually 'DISCUSSED' their unlucky situation. He cares, you know? And Siwon cares for Jinha too but the ABRUPT OUTING caused fear in Siwon, unlike Jinha, who was happy that they won't have to hide their love anymore. To be frank, no one likes a secret love.
I wish they'd get back together though!
The bad guy obviously drugged Siwon.
Like COME ON. There is actually NO WAY IN HELL that he'd be all head over heels for this guy.
He wouldn't admit any feelings for Kang Jinha so how is he just suddenly out of no where gonne spread his legs for that guy that made things so hard for him and Kang?
Also he doesnt forgive people if they do him wrong, that's also one of the reasons why he wouldnt just go ahead and jump into Kangs arms.
So no. I actually don't think that Siwon is the worst person ever (and you cant change my mind).
He might be a real airhead and naive but ey, at least he is a realistic "I have multiple childhood traumas i did not process at all so now I'm a highly unstable and insecure person, also im straight stop sexually harassing me" guy.
So thank you author-san, for making an actual realistic character (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Exactly! Siwon hates the guy's guts for what he's done, why the hell would he fall in love with him after all the shit he's done? And I've see the raw for chapter 65 and Chinese guy is forcing Siwon and he is crying because he wants it to stop :(
Am I the only one who is actually glad that Jinwoo and Sarang will probably end up together???
And wtf is the problem with Sarang being "weak" and a "crybaby" "stereotype uke"??? Wtf do u expect if he is basically seen as a disgusting monster by his father and brother and it turns out his boyfriend cheats on him constantly???? And i didn't even talk about the taboo of homosexuality in south korea. OFCOURSE FUCKING SARANG IS LIKE THAT THEN?????
Id rather have sweet, cute, genuine Sarang date Jinwoo then rude, angry Woojung who just went ahead and completely dropped his brother in a heartbeat after hearing he's gay. He didn't even TRY to talk to Sarang at all even tho they are twins. And twins have extremely strong bonds so that says A LOT about Woojung. Even if their family breaking apart was hard on Woojung, doesnt give him the right to act like a huge asshole toward Sarang (come on he tried to punch him in the face). Sorry but I just dont see Woojung falling for Jinwoo at all. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
Omfg. THANK you. I was about to post a comment saying this very thing to a poster below. Faith in humanity.... Restored! Just one thing, Woojung complains that his mother chose Sarang over him. What did Woojung EXPECT when he treated his brother like shit? The reason his mother left was because his FATHER found out Sarang was gay, probably because of Woojung, and started to HIT Sarang. If she left him in a situation like that she would have been an utterly SHIT mother. Woojung was left with his father probably because he was no better than his dad. So, if EITHER of the twins are responsible for their mother leaving Woojung behind, it's Woojung, HIMSELF.
Sometimes I really think that I am just too old for mangas and manhwas. They are probably directed to people from 15-19/20 and here I am with my 22 years old.... It's just really hilarious when you see all the faults, poorly written plot, imperfections and you just can't enjoy it and you write and write multiple times why this work is not so good, using various arguments to defend your point of view.. and here few comments above you see the same discussion all over again and completely misunderstanding the problems other readers have with that story.
It's not readers fault that the author makes Sarang's story so pitiful, dramatic. As I said before... I'm only waiting for some serious disease and accident that will cause amnesia. A lot of people are done with the trend of weak ukes that are always bullied, can't have gram of muscle on them, have the worst luck in the world, that can't defend themselves, that have to have some big, strong man beside them beacuse they're completely helpless.
Sarang is totally cutie pie cinnamon roll. Nobody understands what he had in head when he slept with his brother's friend who was in love with said brother...be he was curious ok? That's good reason enough. Also we know that his bf is totally asshole but he cheated on him. Twice. We didn't even know that Sarang has a bf. And he wasn't really worried about that he was cheating on him. Infidelity is infidelity. It's never ok. He should have broken up with Eungi long time ago.
Their mother shouldn't choose. She should keep in touch with Woojung. Try to talk to him.
And Woojung yup he is rather one dimensional brat, like nearly everyone in this story including Jinwoo whose feeling were so deep that in the end it was all about looks (he forgot about his supposed love of the life in couple of days and fell in love with his twin brother in few next days, seriously if it was anyone but his twin brother i would cheer on them). And it's nice addition that Sarang's is stereotypical uke, cute, adorable, femine. It makes Jinwoo feel musculine and important.
But I think Woojung aversion to Sarang is also caused by the splitting of their family (which was caused by Sarang but it wasn't his fault, I'm not saying that it was his fault ok?). It's also fault of their father that Woojung grew up in homophobic environment and he is like he is...you heard about something called determinism maybe?
And of course the girl always girls can't be normal. Pink hair girl of course has to be obsessed, liar. Beacuse meh man yaoi.
The story is too dramatic, characters are flat and they behaviour is sometimes completely illogicall... But yup it's the readers that are just ungreatful brats when they point this out.
But art is gorgeous. I have to admit that at last.
Well, I'm 22, too and i like this story. If you don't like this story for various reasons, that's fine. But I really doubt that's because of your age. 19/20 and 22 years aren't even that far from each other agewise.
You're probably right, i guess i wouldn't enjoy this kind of story even if i was 17. It's just not my cup of tea.And i like mangas in general (yaoi). The works of Scarlet Beriko, Oogawa Chise (few titles not all), Harada, Sachimo... they are gorgeous. Even few webtoons are not so bad. F.e. Out of control is quiet charming.
Hmmm ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Ahh well i never mind "weak" ukes, since i can relate and understand them very well.
People just aren't nice and the world isn't a good place for people who are genuine. It's all about being the strongest, the prettiest, the handsomest, the smartest etc. And to some people that means bringing others down. Especially if you are different OR if you have something they dont have. It's hard to stand up for urself when u have low selfesteem and ur being bullied AND your family is against you. Which is why most ukes are the same. Its what happends in real life all the time.
About Sarang cheating on Eungi, YES it was a bad thing to do and cheating on someone even tho they cheated on you first DOES NOT make it alright to cheat. But i can understand a lil bit why it ended up like that ( im not defending him at all dw).
Firstly, people who cheat even when they are in love and sincere about it, most of the time have been "neglected" by their lover. They dont spend a lot of time together, they dont text/call, they dont have sex (yes yes thats very important) and one of them is mean to them/ignores them. This is probably the case for Sarang, since Eungi would go fuck other guys even tho they would hang out, he wouldn't text back etc etc. So Sarang was just very lonely (and maybe hungry for dick, cuz ey sex feels good + brain reacts = happy = want more sex)
Secondly, even though Sarang is a "good sincere" person, he still has emotions. Very strong emotions. After seeing Eungi cheating on him he must have been shocked and he probably bottled his emotions up. Since he was having a hard time already + is a guy so he "cant express his feelings cus that gay" = bottling up everything and eventually exploding. Or in his case, cheat on Eungi. Yes its bad that he did that. BUT with everything that has been going on and also being drunk TWICE, i can understand he did something so stupid.
He DEEPLY regretted it afterwards, which shows he is completely different from Eungi.
I actually think that Jinwoos love for Woojung was deep, but the human brain does weird stuff when a lot happends.
Woojung hasn't been the nicest person for a while to Jinwoo (and Sarang) because of that girl. So that can be a reason why Jinwoo started to dislike Woojung.
After that Jinwoo confessed, but was ofcourse rejected. When something like that happends, your brain automatically marks that moment as "the end" of your feelings because "you finished the job without good result, so now its time to move on to the next task". This is why (most) people can get over rejection very quickly.
Now since Jinwoo knew that Woojung wouldn't accept his confession, he was actually already emotionally prepared for the rejection. Which is probably why he wasn't too upset over it and also why he could get over Woojung so quickly.
Now since both Jinwoo and Sarang were distressed/heartbroken or rejected their brains and hearts were all messed up. When that happend their hearts try to cling to the only thing that can help them feel at least a little bit better. For them it happend to be each other and since they already were sexually attracted to one another, it just happend.
About that girl, i think she probably grew up being spoiled and always getting things she wanted her way. So that why she turned Woojung against Jinwoo etc etc. People do crazy stuff to get what they want cuz they just don't know what to do about their feelings. Emotions can be very overwhelming.
Personally i dont think this story is too dramatic or that the characters are flat or that their behaviour is completely illogical. I think people just refuse to understand characters and their emotions. Its also not like it all happened in a matter of days. And there is probably a lot more going on then the author shows. Its not like manhua authors have a lot of time to draw out all memories, emotions etc. A lot of it got lost in the process. This is also the authors first manhua, so if its not perfect thats fine
┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
Jeez guys wtf is wrong with you??
Y'all clearly do NOT understand Siwon AT ALL. This is obviously not and easy simple "love at first sight" and "fUcC" manhua. If you just wanne see two guys get together FAST and FUCK without a lot of problems then go read a different one.
These characters aren't just simple stereotypes, they are very complex characters who are all VERY different. The author did a PERFECT job at making and developing these characters. With lots of background stories and memories and emotions. If you then add the REALITY of how homosexuality is handled in South Korea + anxiety + low self-esteem + stress, you get Siwon.
If you really hate Siwon at this point you obviously did not read the manhua correctly. Do u really think the author just threw in all his memories and emotions for fun?? As an extra?? Cuz then ur very wrong. These things were all added so you can UNDERSTAND WHY a character is the way he is. And if you look at Siwon complicated childhood and character and the way he thinks its only LOGICAL FOR HIM TO ACT THIS WAY!!!
He is scared and unsure about his feelings, because he doesnt want to become an outcast. Because hey lets face it, the whole world IS NOT LGBT FRIENDLY. And obviously also not the world where Siwon and Jinha live in ヽ(`Д´)ノ
THANK YOU.
Geez, I cannot tell you how annoying it is when people get frustrated over Siwon. It's like, "yeah, I get what you're going through, frustration and whatnot", but Siwon had no homosexual feelings towards Jinha until now. As far as I know, he was straight before Jinha came back into his life. It takes guts and courage to accept newfound feelings of sexuality. Especially, if you've never dabbled in same-sex relationships. Coupled with the fact that Siwon has self-esteem issues, of course he's going to act this way.
THANK YOU. this is the entire embodiment of what i've been thinking. this isn't just about "the fuk" it's about the characters growing, and a LOT of ppl here just aren't getting it.
Truely... this was such a good manga before the last 3-4 chapters. The topics of identity and sexuality and childhood trauma were so well done and interesting, literally amazing, artstyle beautiful, atmosphere and facial expressions perfect!! Yes, very disturbing psychotic stuff happened but the characters backstories that explained their behaviour was soooo scrumptiously written! And FINALLY a manga with twins that didn't turn into some twincest bs... yet the ending... what...?
I was hoping that when the author dropped the "Kyou died" part as a little note, the plot twist would end up being that actually Kagami died and Kyou took over her identity.
I already had THAT kind of ending in my head, that Kagami and Kyou would have a fight, he jumps the railing to Rikimarus house, she'd try to follow him and was all unstable and psycho, slips and dies.
And than Kyou would be more girly and live happily ever after with Rikimaru.
Or even that Kagami and Kyou have a fight, Rikimaru is like "wow Kagamin you are insane... seek help", she realises she has a problem, cries, blablabla Kagami stops being psycho and stops trying to be Kyou, makes more friends, finds a cute guy and leaves Kyou and Rikimaru alone.
Or EVEN if Kyou had died, that Rikimaru would have followed him to be with him, Kagamis mind breaks and there is a whole psychological monologue (like in neon Genesis Evangelion) and at the end she realises she should have been herself and seeks help, lives her life and idk after dying is reunited with Kyou and Rikimaru.
And EVEN had they actually jumped to be with Kyou, it could have been cute to see them all together again or reincarnated or anything... ANYTHING BUT THIS ENDING (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Like idk... the thought of them "making" a Kyou as seen in the end is just disturbing...??? Like idk, that was ur brother/childhood friend you were in love with and has relations with and now you want to give that kid the same name?!?!!? Breh........
Not to shit more on this story but like...
How dare you keep us in suspense by telling us beforehand that Kyou will be gone soon and than not even SHOWING US HOW IT HAPPEND.
Had they spilled the tea, shown us what was said and done by Kagami and Kyou during their argument and that she had pushed him or if he tried to make her look bad by jumping by himself, just ANYTHING... if they had than the ending wouldn't be so disappointing and wouldn't have felt so rushed.
Truely a sad sad year for fans of this manga
