Jesus christ, I felt like I lost some brain cells reading this. Mc is just a victim in all this who didn't have confidence in himself. I hate how everything seems to conveniently go into place and make everything seem "alright," like there's no sustenance to any of what they do. Where's the emotional and mental damage? Feels like everything was swept under a rug.
