Trigger Warning - Child Abuse

Spoilers ahead

Loved the novel. This has a very unique and interesting plot.

Che Che went through a lot and is going through a lot. Jiang Yao helps him through that. He might come of as a playboy and may be he is for some part, but he is a very devoted, and responsible person. Absolute green flag.

Though I still cannot understand not letting the parents of patient (who is a minor) know about the child's health condition due to law? Which civilization is actually thinking that the children (10 year old) can make decisions for themselves? This is very illogical.

forreal created a topic of Absolute Control

So Qi Wang Zhi (seme) is an alpha who was raised as a girl during his childhood?
Then when he disguised himself as black haired guy to meet Sheng, he turned himself into an omega? Or did he meet him as an Alpha?
Present day he is an Alpha, so he turned himself into an Alpha again?

Or was he an omega at birth and changed himself into an Alpha?

Or he never changed his secondary gender and met Sheng (while disguised as dark haired guy) as an alpha.

Are secondary genders assigned at birth in this manhua or at a certain age? Could he have met Sheng (as dark haired guy) when he was not assigned a secondary gender, and then he became an Alpha?

I wish I understood this. Read the whole thing but still some parts make no sense.

Truly respect teachers like these 2, who not only provide good academic education but also provide moral support to their students.

Love that Yanagi who is an omega and understands the difficultly of being an omega in a world where discrimination is rampant, reassures his student that he will support her. And Asanaga talks about ways to deal with alpha ruts and supporting them. Both encourage their students to break the barriers of sexes and see each other for who they are.

This encouraged the other teachers to pitch in as well.

Wonderful read. Breath of fresh air after reading a lot of $hi!t lately.

Also, taller uke and shorter seme, and the taller one did not turn out to be light haired. Averted Light haired uke stereotype. Awesome.

I don't quite understand the inner workings of the aunt though. Like why would you neglect a child, when you feel that you were responsible for his parent's death.

forreal created a topic of Guiding Hazard

Inner Interactions of different parts of mind is hilarious (lol). Eunsung's Conscience burying his Instinct (≧∀≦). And P.E.P. I am dead (lol). I can't laugh anymore.

Awesome Seme. The rare green flag type.

Trigger Warning: Child Rape, Child Prostitution, Explicit Depiction of Child Rape, Explicit Depiction of Child Sexual Torture, Incest Child Rape, Disgusting Father, Disgusting Brother

His father sold him into prostitution as a child. Father should be burned alive. Just a disgusting human being. I feel so sorry for Kei. He had to deal with a a lot. He is mentally very disturbed. No child should go through this.

This manga did mess me up. The thought process of the child going through this, not understanding why this is happening to him. Going as far as thinking that the adults were jailed but he was not just because he is a child is stupid. Really heart wrenching. Have to say this part of the portrayal is well written. But I definitely could have done without the explicit child rape scenes (PLAIN DISGUSTING). The author even drew explicit sexual torture scenes regarding the child. DISGUSTING. I can't say how disgusting I feel regarding this.

Another issue I have with this manga..
If the father wanted money, then why did he just prostitute the light haired guy. Kei has a brother too, why wasn't he (Disclaimer: I am not saying he should have been. please read on). I feel this is just because of Kei's unique light haired and eyes. Just some twisted case of racial domination.

Just found out that the brother, dad or grandparent also raped him. DISGUSTING Author. Racial Domination. Has something against light haired people.

This seriously messed me up. Wish I did not read this. WISH THERE WAS SOME TRIGGER WARNING FOR THIS.. Whenever I am reminded of this and the disgust reaches a certain level I come here to rant about it.

Yup. Stupid light haired uke stereotype strikes again.

forreal created a topic of Scumbag System

Best couple in all of the BL I read - Shen Yuan and System. (rofl) They have the best chemistry and are an iconic comedic duo.

Shen Yuan and Airplane; Shen Yuan and Liu Qingge are also good comedic duos. Shen Yuan himself is hilarious. Oh... and don't forget Tianlang-Jun.

Everything else.. Can we call it reverse grooming. I don't know ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Trigger Warning - Child Rape, Child Abuse, Pedophilia by Father, Light Haired Seme Rape

No amount of torture is enough for these kinds of disgusting fathers.. I don't understand how they are allowed to have children.

Another seme raped as a child turns out to be light haired. Disgusting man. This hardly is ever depicted with dark haired semes. I don't understand why authors feel the need to do this to light haired people. Some kind of twisted racial domination thing. Disgusting

Trigger Warning - Child Rape, Child Prostitution, Child Abuse

Jean talking so calmly about his abuse.. These things really mess up a child. No amount of punishment is enough for these disgusting aggressors..

Also, regarding STR Studio version, they keep using the word catamite. I looked up the meaning. How is this word apt for him? Didn't Jean/Gin say he was never with a man. Am I missing something? Or is it just bad translation.

forreal created a topic of Turning

This is a rare gem and has an awesome plot.

Has a novel with the same name with over 900 chapters and still ongoing. Have to wait for a few years for this adaptation to complete. Definitely worth it.

forreal created a topic of Falling Into Darkness

Trigger Warning : Child Rape, Child Abuse, Child Drug Testing, Pedophilia by Adopted Father

Another BL without proper Trigger Warnings or tags.

Light haired seme was adopted as a child and continuously raped by adopted father. Went through drug testing by adopted father. Disgusting man. I don't understand how people like these be allowed to live. No amount of torture is enough for these disgusting creatures.

Also, why the hell is the raped character a blond again. Sick of this trope already. Authors love to abuse light haired characters. Disgusting.

forreal asked a question

There have been too many instances on this site where I started reading BL work and suddenly came across things like child rape, child abuse, child prostitution, child sex trafficking etc. Some even have explicit child rape scenes. Most of the time there are no Trigger Warnings and comes as a total surprise in an unpleasant disgusting way. I saw very few cases where the chapter would have trigger warnings at the start, but even this is a rare case. Some of these are so small and do not attract enough attention when compared to the huge red warnings page stating not to reupload or some other stuff before it.

Shouldn't these kinds of things be mentioned on the summary or prologue and at the start of the chapter. So that people can make informed decisions? And this should be done even if it's implied or a backstory. People do get physically ill due to triggers.

Sadly, with the current state of BL I go into reading one expecting there to be some kind of rape for adults. But children are not at an age where they should be exposed to some elements (even thought sadly some are exposed). So this should have a much strict regulation.

So,
1. do authors put Trigger Warning on a book when they publish it?
2. If not why?
3. If yes, why are these not present on mangago?
4. I feel it would be better to have a separate section here to explicitly mention these warnings. and uploaders should fill this information when creating a new manga page and may be put a warning page before the first chapter.

Also it would be highly appreciated if people (who know there are problematic plot points and no trigger warnings) can put a Trigger warning in the comments or topics section.

Note: I read somewhere that an author did not put trigger warnings for child related abuse because it would ruin the surprise. I am not sure how credible this is, but if it is true... that is some disgusting thought process and stupidity of the highest level.

forreal created a topic of Unfinished Business

Trigger Warning - Child Sex Trafficking, Possible Child Rape, Child Abuse, Possible Drug testing on child

I don't understand why no one puts Trigger Warnings for these kinds of things. This is about child rape and trafficking. Why does mangago not have any section for trigger warning and make it mandatory while adding a new story. I am sick and tried of picking up and manga and suddenly coming across disgusting stuff like this without prior warning.

Sex Traffickers caught the child that Ji-Chan is looking for (the seme) because of his pretty features with light blond hair and fair features. Kid has not presented but everyone assumes he is an omega because of his looks (plain stupid). One of the trafficker even goes as far as to say it's better he is not omega so he won't get pregnant. The trauma the kid had to go through... This makes me so sick. The story is still ongoing, don't know what happened to the kid. What he had to go through.

I am sick and tired of light haired characters being put through these kinds of situations in these manga.

forreal created a topic of Chika-chan to!

Yup, shows the hierarchy perfectly. Black haired guy is the seme. Guy with lighter shade but not the lightest shade hair is the Seke and guy with lightest shade is the uke.

Stupid Light haired uke stereotype.

Even deifying other stereotypes like height etc, WHY THE HELL DO authors never defy the Light Haired UKE stereotype. Every single uke author drew (seeing the works from the author section) has light hair. Disgusting..

forreal created a topic of Heat and Run

All the omegas expect the second couple are blond. All the male alphas except the second couple are dark haired. Like how. Like why. If this is the type of world you are building may be start with blond represents omega and dark hair represents alpha. Would have made more sense than this.

2 brothers are in relationship with a different pair of brothers. Each pair of brothers has an uke and seme (omega and alpha).

Joo brothers - Joo Ian has blond hair and Joo Jihwan has black hair
Ro brothers - Ro Jaeho have dark hair and Ro Miho has blond hair

Joo Ian is omega/uke and Ro Miho is omega/uke. Both blond hair. Being the uke.

My understanding of genetics says that brothers would not have such complete 180/ opposite hair colors. Ok assume that due to some rare strong genes, one of them might have inherited a different color. How in the hell did only the omega/ukes inherit this trait? And not just one but both the omegas from the 2 pairs of brothers did. Where is the logic in this?

Coming to the children.... Stupidity ensues
Why is the blond twin an omega? The Dark Haired twin is the alpha and of course his omega partner is blond. And the blond twin would obviously be paired with the dark haired alpha (Noah?). Just stupid racial domination or fetishism thing these authors seem to have. Uke almost always needs to have lighter hair than seme.

Also are there no other families or no other alpha or omega in this? Why the hell do even the child get together only between these 2 families. Extreme fantasy with no sense.

Trigger Warning - Child Rape, Child Abuse, Too much rape, Gang rape

Too much rape and too little story. Even though that is important for this storyline, the story just doesn't move along. You get one glimpse of some story development and the next thing is a rape scene.

Cultist rape/rituals. EWWWWWW........

They are twins and somehow one of them is blond and somehow he is the one to take all the disgusting rape and abuse as part of some stupid cultist rituals.

Trigger Warning (Ch 5 and 6) : Child Rape, Child Prostitution, Racial Rape

This was just plain DISGUSTING. I wish I did not read this. Though I like Robert's resolve to save his friend.

Given the fact that majority of the time in BL the light haired person would be the uke or a seme who was raped as a child or seme turned uke, I always had the conviction that it was majorly due to racial domination (other reason being racial fetishism). Why else would these manga have such a huge amount of light haired people when Chinese, Japanese and Korean have predominantly black/dark hair.

I see the same pattern in Shonen and hetero manga too. Characters from other genre like Nakago, Aois Trancy, Mcgillis Fareed, Jugram from Bleach (heavily implied) are some of the blond characters who were abused/raped as children.

Kaito from "Himegoto - Juukyuusai No Seifuku" was r@ped as a child as well and somehow he is a Light haired as well.
Ash from Banana Fish shares the same fate, being repeatedly r@ped and somehow he is also blond.
"Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru" - Pedro attempted to rape Minoru on three seperate occasions. And surprise surprise Minoru is a blond as well.
Hisoka from Yami no Matsuei
Touga Kiryuu from Utena
Sakurai Hiroto from Gantz
Attemped rape on Sanzo from Saiyuki

I hardly see this happening to dark haired counter parts (not saying it doesn't happen but it's very minute).

Let's not forget about manga with light haired ukes, which constitutes of 80 to 90% BL. It's a widely accepted fact that most have r@pe. So we can safely infer that 80 to 90 % of those r@pe victims are again light haired characters.

This manga further strengths my conviction about Racial domination being passed off as normal in these manga.

Disclaimer : This is my opinion and people do not have to agree to this and I am sure no one would.

Note: I just consolidated all the messages into one since I am having issues every time I edit the post.
