The prayer beads was an absolute no go! I'm not Buddhist but I still find this super disrespectful and I felt really uncomfortable even though the rest was nice.

The fact he lives on despite this horrible past shows that he still has some strength left and maybe also hope. It's very well made because I dont feel like the ml was given a sob story but a past that defines his hole being. I sincerely wish for him to heal.

i believe the artist decided to restart it so the first 11 chapters are the first version. so the story actually starts at ch. 0

The story was good. The black white world is not correct but I think her way of seeing the world depends alot on how she defines good and bad. So it would have been nice to introduce "grey" in order to show her growth in how she sees the world. Still she made progress and had a nice character. She always was firm in unexpected situations and didn't start to waver because of love or shyness.
Mr Yim acted also like an adult and was pretty realistic in his actions. No overly affection or jealousy and a calm and collected personality that accepts his own feelings without too much drama.
What I didn't like were those many incidents before the actual plot. It's explainable why she got caught in such situations but sometimes it felt too much and too forced.
Still the story was very nice so please the author :)
I don't understand the harsh critics. The manga displays a typical situation where a couple is dissatisfied with their current relationship. It results in cheating, but does that mean the husband in this case is not a good man per se? He was lonely and humans are weak. It would have been better to talk things through but then ...being 20 years together also means to have experience in life that teaches you to not hit things that are already fragile. I just think the manga shows that cheating is not a black or white issue and results out of several causes. And people are not black or white either. If this story is about a notorious playboy who falls for a good girl, most of you would fangirl for him. But if we take it realistically, every girl before was just used. Be it girlfriend or just sex friend. But it seems most of you don't care. But if it's about a couple, everyone is super harsh about every mistake....so I don't get the doppelmoral...
I'm one of them harsh critics lmao I'm no moral police and can't dictate how people should live their lives; however I can make my own judgements based off my own moral code. Whilst I agree that humans are weak and that not everything is black and white, cheating IS bad objectively. It doesn't mean that you can't emphatise and understand the context for why people do it. In every situation, there is always a point where you have to make a choice-- and in this manga, they chose to cheat. It doesn't mean they're bad people, but they did make bad choices and therefore suffered the consequences. They also chose to rectify it by finally owning up and communicating their issues, taking accountability and finally moving forward. And that's life! Shit happens. Sometimes you reap what you sow, other times you don't (and others will complain about how unfair that is).
I totally agree with you. My point is just that even if someone made mistakes they are still allowed to be happy and don't "deserve" a bad ending. And that's why I was pissed by most of the comments. Cheating in itself is obviously a bad thing, but it's one of countless bad things humans do, therefore I don't like this absolutistic way of judgement towards cheaters while other bad things are regarded "harmless" ╮(￣▽￣)╭
This one was good and I think it was even better because of the previous story. It made you dislike Kaoru to a point where you wanted him to be "punished".
I like how the ML has so many expressions. It makes him very attractive and gives him personality.
When it goes from smut to serious family issues o.O The story leveled up insanely.
