The art is really beautiful and also the setting. But it seems like the major story points such as Devs loss of family, Cloyds loss of his parents, the general slave-master topic...all of them were only graced slightly and not deep enough. Devs goal was to find his family and after one chapter their death was just accepted. It feels like everything is too peaceful despite the very very dark start.
Non the less I liked the story and plot so I hope the author continues to write another story with more depth :)

While rape is always a bad thing, I guess it was good to show that even though it's an omaga-verse, women can also be sexually violent against men. It might be not as often as the other way around but still, the damage and post traumatic symptoms are the same.
