I could understand being bothered by the formulaic nature of the manga, but tbh it doesn't bother me. Alot of shows I watch have a formulaic nature (Sailor Moon, Sonic X, etc.), so I don't really expect much different in the manga I'm reading. But then again, that may just be me. :P

People say there's no progress, but honestly it does seem like there's some. Even if it's only a little bit. Notice how pent up Souichi is. There has to be something new that is going to come from this, right? Souichi did say it wasn't that troublesome if people knew about them in the last chapter as well, so I'm assuming this is gonna be some kind of setup to where he ends up opening up a little after he comes back from Hamamatsu. Idk, it just seems like there is progress to me. Especially after rereading it seven times.

Hello! I am on the hunt for HQ KSB scans. Since I found a download where Vol 1 is in high quality (I can try to find this again if wanted), I am hoping to get as many volumes in high quality as possible. If anybody has them and is willing to share, I'd be really happy. And I feel like alot of people on here would be really happy, too! :)

It's supposed to be one that comes with the OVA. It was actually uploaded as being a vol 12 chapter (I think it was vol 12?), but since it was uploaded as a new chapter and not an extra it got taken down. The story was that Morinaga had gotten sick, and so Souichi was taking care of him. No matter where I look, I can't seem to find it anywhere. Anybody know a good place to look?

If you want a summary —> it starts with Morinaga saying that after what happened in vol 1, Senpai refuses to go to his apartment, so when he appears he thinks he is just hallucination, and starts fantasizing haha, it just until the last page that he realizes that Senpai is actually there (after he punches him for hugging him)
Hopefully!! I remember an English version existing, but sadly I hadn't downloaded it, so it seems to be lost now. Maybe a dedicated KSB fan will eventually find it. We can only hope...!

I WAS ABOUT TO MAKE A COMMENT ABOUT IT! Everyone keeps saying how they don't progress and how the story is very repetitive, but when you can notice those subtle yet powerful changes in senpai... you can see just how much he cares for and loves morinaga in his own way.
I know, right?? Granted, the manga has been running for a long time, so it seems like there's not much development when Souichi gets angry at Morinaga, but when everything is over and everyone's calm and happy, the character development really shows. Plus, we all have to remember that although it's been long for us, it's been not even an entire year for them, so the development they're showing is amazing!
I went ahead and re-read the whole thing, so I have pretty fresh every single change in their relationship. Like you said, since it's been so long for us it makes sense that some people don't see the changes at all but indeed it's been about a year for them so the pacing is quite alright!!! I¡m not saying everyone should re-read but it'd give them a much pleasant experience I believe :)
