I read the manhwa first then outta curiosity I also read the light novel but still here I am reading this thing again. It's just so good stuff. So I don't think u will have a problem specially since updates for this r slow to the point they can't cope up with the curiosity this manhwa produces. Though u will know the story but I guess u can never get tired of seeing sung jin Woo in action. Haha

Don't worry, you'll want to keep reading the manhwa... and then re-read the novel while waiting for more manhwa chapters. Or re-read the manhwa from the start for the 33rd time...

Don't wait for the manhwa to be finished. Reading the novel makes you appreciate the stupid and cool moments of the shadows a lot more. And it might take a long time for the manhwa to be finished, I personally wouldn't have the patience. You will probably re-read both quite a few times

i mean like damn, i read bl more than i should but when i read this comment it felt like i was slapped in the face.
also, it feels like this story would overall be just BETTER if the villain didn't even exist. like i would seriously read it without him he has like no benefit at all tbh. his reasons are so petty and annoying. so I'm over here trying to scrap him in his entirety and you were shipping them?? man it took me a second to comprehend that

just sometimes in OTHER stories its more "acceptable" cause of the characters circumstances and for the sake of the story, but in this case, he has a wonderful SANE girl by his side so I ship him with her ofc

lmfaooo true. i actually prefer him with his last wife tbh. she obviously loved him, even when he was a mess, and I just wish they got more time together. i don't want the 'prettier' girl to win just because all the other guys want her, or because she has known him for a while now. i know shes nice and all, but that doesn't mean they're compatible. i just have a lot more respect for the wife that loved him when he was nothing. when he was a surgeon with no money, no family, and just a little hope. she left him though because at the end she realized that he had no time for her, and honestly? YES QUEEN. at that time, she deserved much better. she deserves the him NOW. she earned that.

I disagree. I always force myself to remember that unless it's the person being reincarnated, then all the side characters are different people and all the things they did in the past do not exist anymore. Something as simple as changing the time of their first meeting could change the entire future and cause them not to make the same decisions in the same situationsヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

I really understand this because I was low key shipping them too until i saw him killing his dog (100% certain he killed the others) and he killed his brother as a doctor and I’m pretty sure he poisoned him with that herbal drink he gave him a day before the exams, in fact I actually misunderstood the theme of this webtoon I thought it was going to be a BL but I think I got it mixed up with another one

Mhmm and his jealousy was just too much but I get it but I don’t you know it’s cause how he was raised or in this case wasn’t raised but it doesn’t help that his mother was schizophrenic in the hospital so he was probably alone a majority of his childhood because his father didn’t want him in the main house (which is 10/10 parenting skills (╬￣皿￣)凸 ) but that doesn’t excuse him killing innocent animals.

Ugh same I really used to ship Jihyun and Sangmin when they were in high school. Sangmin had his issues, but he became such a cutie after Jihyun stood up to him how could I not. But then I got suspicious of him in their third year especially after that herbal blend - but i still hoped! - then he killed his dog and by extension, my ship :") I currently ship Jihyun and his ex-wife, but the author is clearly not going for it, so haemi is cool too :)

I do hope he ends up with haemi or his ex-wife, but I think something major will happen with sangmin cause it seems like the author coming to a conclusion with him in the near future.
