People are hating on John but if they were in his shoes they will act so much worse. Have you guys forgotten they tortured John and I say tortured not bullied because they went over the line multiple times and almost killed him. Also, Arlo is calling John fake, Arlo didn't you fake friend John for a month and then attack him with two other people which caused John to hit his breaking point. John also emphasized that with the break phone comment. Y'all need to get over your selves.
EGG-fucking-ZACLY.
Yep. I mean it's not John's fault that people targeted him when they thought he was a cripple. No matter WHAT the other readers think they know about John. Not even SERA knows what happened to him in his previous school. And the bullying started LONG before they even had an inkling of it. That INCLUDES green haired b**** Elaine. By the logic of those who think John is rude they would have to argue that he WASN'T being bullied, yet they can't do that. So much for that idea then I'd have to say.
Also, they continuously argue that they're the only ones who have actually read the story. Um they missed a huge portion of the story, even according to their own 'logic', if they think John deserved this because he was being such a 'giant douche' as King at his own school. If he WAS such a mega douche then why didn't he put down the bullies AND Claire when we see them first approaching him BEFORE the whole mess at the previous school started. In FACT HE was the ONLY one who was injured in the shot of him on the ground and him being surrounded by the the three bullies. So either the ones they accused of not knowing the story are ACTUALLY the ones who know the story and/or their logic is just as fallacious as I've implied it was.
Oops for them?
I'm sorry but how is Diesel with someone that killed his former lover.
One possibility could be that Diesel's former lover was an Alpha of a wolf pack. Diesel was the Alpha's mate and therefore Diesel would be with him regardless of how he was treated. Most animals work on a heiarchy of sorts; If you kill the Alpha, you gain it's mate and you become the leader. This is why Diesel said he sometimes wonders if he's a slave to his instincts or if he's actually in love. His instincts as a wolf tell him to be with the new Alpha (aka, the killer). He also doesn't know if it's love. It's probable that Diesel's past lover was a terrible person but he still loved him anyway.
You guys don't know how ecstatic I was when I saw Elaine got the life smack out of her. And all the people who say John shouldn't have hit Elaine what about all those time she made his life hell and hit him first during the first chapters.
Well Elaine is wary of him since the incident with Arlo so of course she is trying to avoid him, and John not explaing anything and shouting orders like he is boss (when he publicly deny his power and thus pass from being King) doesn't help at all.
John's reaction to Sera's situation is like that of that one relative we have to keep away from the injured. He isn't helping in healing Sera (Not even first aid? Really?), instead is raging at everyone that at least tries something.
And Elaine being wary of him is her own fault. When she thought he was a cripple she thought nothing of him being bullied or treating him with contempt. Now that she realizes he isn't she acts like she had nothing to do with it. Oops poor widdle Ewaine. And him not acting the way he did actually makes LESS sense. See he has more right to act that way than poor widdle Ewaine does. Thanks.
I agree. He didn't have to hit her but I don't feel any remorse for her. In my opinion his reaction to them is understandable because of all the hell he's been taking from them for so long. When he's upset, the old John come to life which is shocking to most because they are not use to that side of john. I think it's a breath of fresh that they finally get some of their own medicine.
