Sorry for this unpopular opinion, but this webtoon is reading like a bad fanfic to me -_-" I usually try to read all chapters available before judging a comic, but I had too many problems with this one. If executed well, I don't mind reading some dark stuff such as abuse, rape, Stockholm syndrome, incest, etc., but I feel like this comic's tone is too inconsistent and light hearted about how messed up some of these things are by throwing in the "doki doki" scenes for a seme who's attitude is fuxking trash. Even the whole mafia side story seems like an unnecessary, cliche measure to give the seme excuse for being "hard" and "tough". (Spoiler?) What I think is the seme's personality change / memory would make more sense if he suffered from an accident that injured the BRAIN, not a stabbing of the stomach

omg finally someone with the same thoughts as mine Its like a twelve year old ghostwritten the entire plot. its a shame though, i think the art was pretty good. And I absolutely hate it when they romanticize the abuse, everyone in this manhwa isnt right in the head, y’all need therapy. i think the best example for a perfectly executed manhwa with dark themes would be Painter of the Night. The victim appropriately reacts to the situation like any sane person would, plus the art is gorgeous... and lol who knows, the author probably confused amnesia with anemia ahahaha ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

No, you're not the only ones to think that, I posted such topic weeks ago... that this one is a bad written plot. Someone else told it's a bad familial porn lol because this trend is strong on pornh*b.
Tbh the ideas have some potential but it's badly executed and this story is all over the place.
But kudos to the Author for trying, she can only progress from this point.

I freaking love that Yiyoung went after his crush naively, even if it's dumb or irrational! This is really cool to see a gay character take the initiative and be a bit pushy about their affections (in a non-rapey type of way) without being too worried about being outted, y'know? Something about him doing this all throughout childhood really made me smile! I wish I was able to be that open and bright eyed about my crushes!

I appreciate the writing in this story more than I can say! I hate when stories portray their characters as the obviously 'good' and 'evil' ones without any shades of grey between. This story constantly redeems its characters only to reveal another darker side of them that makes you reconsider your stance, challenging you on what to support. I love all the characters' complexity and obvious personal motivations and how these goals cross and conflict with each other. Beautiful story, art, and writing
I feel like the director friend zoned YiYoung this chapter TT idk it didn't make me smile like a fool like last chapter. Idk, as a dummy gay boi starved for affection, I feel like I easily misinterpret simple kindness as romantic interest, but my cynicism always snaps me out of it. I'm getting the same feeling here, even though the director seems to be going out of his way to help out our MC TT
Director's sending crazy mixed signals...no one can blame Yiyoung to get his hopes up. :-(
Ikr...If youve seen the raws..feels like the directors gonna continue being a like that for the next few chapters
