I'm so grateful that you translated and shared this. I'm so grateful to have read this in my life. Most of all, I'm so grateful to live in a country and time where being LGBTQ+ is generally more acceptable by today's standards.
I genuinely hope that stories like these push both members of LGBTQ+ and allies to foster safe communities for people to be themselves and love who they want. I understand it may be hard, especially for those in conservative spaces, but I do think that as a gay guy, showing the smallest sign of tolerance, even from a single person, releases SOOO much anxiety I have about being myself. Even when I'm in tolerant spaces, I'm so conditioned to panick whenever my sexuality comes up, so just showing the tiniest bit if tolerance (not even support), goes a long way.
The only thing I'd wanna say is that not everyone is ready to be out and proud and taking about our sexuality. I've had more open friends out me with people when I wasn't ready and didn't feel secure about it. I'd say if you're LGBTQ+ and out and proud, you do you! Just don't pull people out of the closet when they haven't had time to adjust :') we'll catch up with y'all eventually, but baby steps before we sprint after y'all.
Of course, there's a line between slowly coming out and suffering in the closet as we see in the manga (though there was further trauma in the manga). Again though, I'd say the best thing we can do for people like that is to show our support and/or tolerance, creating a constant reassurance that the world won't implode if we're outed.

In the very same chapter where you learn that Sora only wants to live according to his own will, the fake version of him says the exact opposite, pledging his life to Jeongha. That's like Sora wanting to stay in the mountain
The prof sucks yeah, but just keep in mind that he is a victim. IRL, I feel like he would deserve a lot of empathy, not only for being outcasted for being gay, but also for surviving a suicide attempt. Can't help but feel (a LITTLE) sorry for him for feeling bitter about this young love in a more accepting generation. Still, he a pedo, and there's that... That's not what I'm defending, he should go to jail for that and attempted kidnapping

I get what you mean, but his trauma turned him for the worst. Its hard to sympathise with him at this point. The people who pushed him until he became this way are at fault, but right now, he’s also at fault for all of the threats and manipulation he did on Min.
Yeah, part of my comment got cut off TT In the story he's definitely responsible for his actions, but it's just really important to realize and address what drove him there in order to help people like him. Based in the story, I think he didn't just start out wanting to be an awful person, so he would deserve a chance at redemption if he ever turned a new leaf, rather than getting threats to go die n stuff. He already went through that shit from the homophobes TT
