Just asking if this story has gotten any less depressing/suspenseful ever since the priest’s childhood backstory? I stopped reading there because the priest was stressing me tf out and now im wondering if the story’s in a less stressful spot for me to pick it back up. No major spoilers though please.
Aw shit here we go again. It was too good to be true that the mc managed to find a green flag that isn’t manipulative. Goddamnit.
Im jumping on the same theory that everyone else has that granny has passed away. God i hope he somehow has the funds that jaekyung gave him saved up so he can pay jaekyung back and just clean himself off of everything to do with him now that he has no actual reason to stay with him (other than his feelings but thats been proven to disgust jaekyung so…).
Idk i feel like all the potential male leads are ass. Even if they “change their ways” the things theyve done till now are pretty unforgivable. The “brother” with the sick little sister too is also a complete asshole who wants to make himself feel better and downplay the gravity of his actions. Even though imo he’s the least offensive one of the bunch. God damn im so petty if i were her I’d never find it in my heart to forgive them.
Mc is such a likeable character! He’s so chill and down to earth lol
What the actual fuck was that ending. Im so confused can someone explain? Absolutely blindsided me.
Spoilers from here on out
So from what im understanding, isaac was the killer all along? He was the one who killed all those people?? Or he just killed colin and her husband in a manic state because hes a closet yandere (but also because he rightfully hates her husband) and took the blame for all the other murders? I think I can see why he killed colin because maybe he thought that colin was going to “take giselle” away from him by finding the cure to their immortality. And isaac wanted giselle to take the pills because he wanted to live forever with her, so if colin cured them both colin would essentially be “taking away” what he wanted for himself and giselle. Im just so confused as to why he suddenly said he was the murderer all along because I thought we already saw a scene where he and giselle encountered the actual murderer in the forest? Did I make that up or what thats why im so confused rn.
Also what was up with that last scene with the little kid who looks like him and that creeper who im assuming is supposed to be isaac? Why did giselle shoot him? Is the little kid a trap layed by isaac for giselle? So many goddamn questions
Was expecting a trigger warning or something for ch 23. Jesus that was depressing. Hope she gets revenge in some way.
Lmao its so good to see that I’m not the only one who wasn’t vibing with the ml.
Are you FUCKING KIDDING MEEE. She LIVED???? Taekyung better be working to put her ass in jail or else istg.
Oh yes, we love the color red here. Jooin’s change in character and resolve doesn’t feel right somehow. I miss him b4 yahwi was in his life.
Does anyone know what name this anime is? If iirc, the main character was a guy with black hair and had a dark aesthetic. The genre was a mix of historical, fantasy, adventure, and action. The general summary of the story is that there are 9 ppl with powers and they have to group together to suppress the one person who has a dark power out of the 9. And there was this one girl with aqua colored hair who is the person with the dark power (which came as a surprise to everyone in the group since shes kinda ditzy and weak?) and everyone thought the main guy had the dark power but it turns out the girl had it. They thought the girl had the light power in the group. They were wearing historical japanese clothing and kimono type clothes. Im trying to find it cause I enjoyed listening to one of its ending songs. Its not a recent anime at all too. I’d say maybe a 2013 or older anime.
Jesus fucking christ this has been like a whole ass true crime narrative.
He was rude as hell but he was also speaking the cold truth. Dan needs to hear it from anyone at this point. Also I honestly hope jaekyung just loses his arm at this point cause dude is so childish about taking a break to heal his arm. Literally he’s gonna just blame his inability to fight in the future on dan and everyone else when he inevitably breaks his arm from HIS OWN CHOICES.
I didnt read the sypnosis before reading this so I was really hoping she was gonna turn out to have been the type of character who “took up” the cowardly persona as a way of hiding her real messed up nature Something in the way she spaced out and her facial expressions in the beginning of the first chapter made it seem like she genuinely didnt give a fck about her sister’s harassing her, and was just biding her time before she could plot some revenge. Or if not that then I was hoping it was something like she was cursed to be cowardly and was actually a psychopathic sadist on the inside. And the reason why she was cursed is because she’s psychopathic
I might just be too petty. But it really doesn’t seem right to me how they ended up together after all that. I wish she would have left or something because the history between the two is too much to just sweep under the rug and get past. For me, I genuinely don’t think there’s a type of love strong enough to sweep everything that happened under the rug and continue to be with someone who hurt me that bad. Genuinely, the only reason that I can think of that’s enough to justify them choosing to be together in the end, is that they had an obsession with each other and their past together.
Is it possible that hodaka is the girl who drugged shion??? Thats the only reason i can think of that explains how hodaka knows the girl who drugged shion. Plus they’re both batshit crazy.
