I didnt read the sypnosis before reading this so I was really hoping she was gonna turn out to have been the type of character who “took up” the cowardly persona as a way of hiding her real messed up nature Something in the way she spaced out and her facial expressions in the beginning of the first chapter made it seem like she genuinely didnt give a fck about her sister’s harassing her, and was just biding her time before she could plot some revenge. Or if not that then I was hoping it was something like she was cursed to be cowardly and was actually a psychopathic sadist on the inside. I might just be too petty. But it really doesn’t seem right to me how they ended up together after all that. I wish she would have left or something because the history between the two is too much to just sweep under the rug and get past. For me, I genuinely don’t think there’s a type of love strong enough to sweep everything that happened under the rug and continue to be with someone who hurt me that bad. Genuinely, the only reason that I can think of that’s enough to justify them choosing to be together in the end, is that they had an obsession with each other and their past together.

Lmfao im so sorry, but reading everyones annoyed comments about the mc is so funny for some reason. Im also so damn frustrated by how trusting the mc can be to the point where his life is put in danger. To be fair, if the people around him weren’t messed up criminals or psychopaths, he wouldnt be in danger but of course in the real world, you gotta be careful of being too trusting. Its a shame that the mc lives in an environment that is surrounded by people who are more than eager to ruin his life. Im almost convinced that the author is making him suffer all of this because theyre trying to make a point about trust and how far it can drag you down in life. Legitimately, there are so many things and misunderstandings that could be solved if he could communicate even a single ounce of what his intentions and thoughts are. Hes always putting off conversations with hae soo which keeps making the situation worse than it already is for someone who needs hella therapy like hae soo. It cant be that hard to be honest about not being in love with hae soos mom to just clear the air since that seems to be the main thing thats setting hae soo off about him knowing his mom. Like seriously? Also, with the recent chapter released, it seems like the uke has a track record of not being able to productively communicate his intentions and thoughts to others since he didnt seem all that happy to quit archery and become a lawyer in the flashback that we got. It seemed like he wanted to say more and continue with archery but didn’t because his foster mom (?) was going against it.

He actually mocked phos for being put in solitude and suffering for 10,000 years after she was put up as the scapegoat for all of their wrong doings. He got his peace with the gems after both parties have been at war for god knows how long. Even when he was the one who orchestrated the kidnapping and breaking of all the gems that phos wanted to restore. He was able to quell any animosity from the gems and get their cooperation in the end and turn them into lunarions. He turned phos into everyones enemy and manipulated her into becoming a villain/human. And to the gems who oh so readily took his side after being transferred to the moon, fuck them as well. It was so easy for them to forget about their hatred towards the lunarions once phos was out of the picture. Im almost convinced that none of them loved phos at all the same way they loved each other. At the most, the only type of care that they extended towards phos was the type of care that stemmed out of pity. Everyone was only able to get their happy ending once phos was subjected to 10,000 years of solitude and painful memories. Thats 10,000 years of phos being mentally broken down (even more than she was before the 10,000 years) over and over again, until her rage and pain had died down into nothingness so that once they met phos again in 10,000 years, she would have no choice but to cave in and let everything go. Because who the hell can hold onto their rage and desire for vengeance after being mentally beaten down into mush for 10,000 years straight? At that point phos would just want to stop feeling anything, hence the reason why she prayed for them in the end so that she could just stop feeling. Even if she chose to make them suffer as she did, that would only continue to feed into her suffering of feeling negative emotions so it was best for phos to just end it all.
Also, if they or anyone had just ASKED or BEGGED phos to sacrifice themself. Im sure that phos would have done so. There would have been no need to break and mold her into what she ultimately became in such a cruel and painful manner if they had just asked this of her. Everyone urged her to be useful, and phos had always wanted to be useful by fighting to protect others and save others. I have no doubt in my mind that they could have just begged phos to sacrifice herself and phos being the type of gem that she is, would have agreed to do such a thing. Hells phos wouldnt even sacrifice the snails to save the gems that she wanted to save in the first place, they knew that she still had a heart in her to save others despite the fact that her transformation into a monster was almost complete.
