Hello! I’m a student who’s struggling financially, I want to help my mother with the expenses in our house but since I live in a country where minors aren’t allowed to work I can’t apply for a part time job. If you guys know where I can earn without doing anything weird and not going anywhere—please let me know.
Hello sweetie I'm so proud of you for wanting to help your mother even though it's not your responsibility If you have a computer, you can learn something online and use freelance platforms and social media to earn some good money I started learning photo editing and graphic design when I was 15 or 16 I'm 25 now and I'm still earning money from it Just don't overdo it because you can get burnt out super easily when you're working at home Manage your time carefully, make time to go outside and meet people, rest well, eat well, tend to your school and have fun. Also you should save some of your earnings for the times that your computer decides to die on you hehe

I mean depends on what you decide to do and where you live In my country photography is like a huge thing People are really obsessed with having photographs and digital albums for every birthday and wedding and store and makeup salon and everything Every place you go there is at least one digital album. I design these albums and edit them. I also edit commercial photos and product photos. I make thumbnails for YT influencers and IG posts for online shops. I do posters and business cards and book covers and packaging designs and logos. And I also do digital art sometimes, like when people ask me to draw someone for them so they can gift it. Basically anything I can get my hands on hehe I just take and design and edit and get the sweet money haha So I don't really need any platforms I just contact random photo studios and I've also built connections inside my field of work through the years But you can really find freelancing platforms everywhere Just google them As for the learning, you can literally learn anything on YT you just need commitment and practice Just choose something and try to get good at it I've been mostly using PS for the past 9 years but I have learnt like 3 to 4 more adobe softwares and CDR (which is really outdated now but it was still in use back then lol)
