wait 7 years does make sense if you think about it:
It's mentioned that Hansol had just turned 20 when he met Sungwoo and had just started university. He's currently in his first year at 20 y/o. Assuming his degree takes 5 years, he must study for another 4 years plus his mandatory 2 years in the military. There you have 6 years with both of them being apart, plus one year post graduating where Hansol works to save up and prepares things like language and other studies before travelling to the USA, it can easily take him 7 years before they can live together again. And I bet they kept travelling to see each other from time to time.

I was enjoying this so much that reading the comments was a shock I don't think it's that bad

yeah many people were saying that they were struggling to not drop the story, that this sole convo had been dragging for 2 and now maybe 3 chapters, that the MC was shallow and we couldn't access his feelings, and that the black curly hair guy was simply the worst. TBH I was surprised. I didn't think it was boring or bad at all. It's actually one of the updates I get the most excited for.

people are talking about how shitty and evil Sunny was but didn't he have like one of the best redemption arcs? I read this in february but I do remember him being like all good now no?

from what I remember, he didn't properly apologize to the mcs on screen but he stopped being shitty somewhere near the ending because of sunbae. They explained the reason he's the way he is (a really abusive and homophobic dad he's stuck with) and the kid gets beat up on a daily basis. Sunbae said "he has never been shown love how would he know how to give it?" and that changed my whole perspective on him. He definitely changed a lot after the timeskip too since he's in Seoul now, away from his abusive dad!
with the way things are happening in china rn regarding the lgbt+ community, I seriously doubt they'll show these two actually kissing anytime soon
Can i ask you what is happening?
wait whats happening
Chinese censorship laws were always strict. In mature rated lgbt+ works many things had to be censored in some way. Few years ago, new laws were established where anything related to lgbt+ is practically prohibited. Kissing, any form of sexual activity, everything had to be censored or better to say, authors aren't allowed to draw/write anything like that.
That's why many manhua and danmei novels are like this. There are implications but you'll never see characters acting on it (there can be verbal confessions as far as I know)
If you check old chapters of 19 days, it's been ongoing series since forever, they also weren't fully without censorship but we still got a kiss and clear image that Jian Yi is in love with Zhan Zheng Xi. It's not unclear with Little Mo and He Tian, but more because we are used to censorship by now and authors know how to still give us everything they can without breaking the stupid lawas ( like giving us Mo's and He's kisses in very wrapped forms).
