I love fl and how realistic she is! She's smart and strong but understands that she can't do anything about her situation. She can't run away because she loves her nephew and she has no control over her family's finances. Usually the FLs just jump into the first chance of marrying a strong nobleman and use that to get rid of their abusive families but our fl is actually weary about the weird power dynamic she's being pushed into
Honestly love the fl. She's written in such a realistic way. She thought her dad loved her only to find out he saw her as a potential tool. Everyone neglected her and her siblings tormented her so it makes sense she's beaten down and unable to defend herself. Even her inability to decifer the ml's emotions makes sense she doesn't have that much experience with positive emotions. Abuse doesn't make people stronger! People are strong despite their abuse. I wish more manhwa's would tackle these subjects more tastefully rather than as some cheap plot device!
Overall I'm excited to see her character growth in s2 now that she's away from her abuser
