before I read "rainbow city" every other BL to me was either okay or it was good. A few I was quite interested in but it wasn't like changing. BUT THEN I READ RAINBOW CITY AND EVERYTHING CHANGED. I felt as if I was in a different dimension LIKE I WAS HIGH. Unfortunately it only had a limited amount of chapters and I WAS THIRSTY, I WAS IN THE DESERT THIRSTY FOR MORE I WAS DYING LIKE I WAS ACTUALLY ABOUT TO DIE. BUT THEN, DESCENED A LITERAL ANGEL, MY GOD WHOM I WORSHIP TILL THIS DAY. "Chaepali" MY SAVIOR, MY LORD, MY GOD, MY GRACE, MY REASON FOR LIVING....brought to me "rainbow city" THE NOVEL. AND SO I BINGE READ THAT SHIT LIKE A MAD MAN AND EVERYTHING CHANGED. let me paste the post I posted on the questions page right after I read the novel

I KNEW AT THAT INSTANT, CHAEPALI WAS MY GOD THAT HAD COME TO SAVE ME FROM THIS CRUEL AND MONOTONE WORLD, HOW DID I NOT REALIZE IT BEFORE?
It was so obvious when I kept reading BLs that were good ONLY TO FIGURE OUT THEY ARE ALL WRITTEN BY HER, BUT I IGNORED THE SIGN, AND SHE SAVED ME FROM THIS CRUEL FATE CALLED LIFE. RAINBOW CITY WAS THE MASTERPIECE OF HER MASTERPIECE OF MASTERPIECE TEXTS. IT WAS MY GOD AT HER BEST, AND IT TRULY FELT LIKE IT. EVERY WORD OF THAT NOVEL WAS PURE PLEASURE. I KNEW THAT WAS WHAT HAPPINESS TRULY FELT LIKE.
I CAN FEEL MY EYES ROLLING TO THE BACK OF MY HEAD AS TEARS BEGAN TO DROP, GOOD, AMAZING, INCREDIBLE AREN'T EVEN CLOSE ENOUGH TO DESCIRBE WHAT I FELT. IT WAS TRULY A FEELING YOU SIMPLY CANNOT DESCRIBE INTO WORDS. AND I MAY SEEM LIKE IM JOKING OR EXAGGERATING, BUT IM NOT.
MY GOD, MY SAVIOR CHAEPALI HAS DESCENDED UPON EARTH TO BRING US HER GODLY WRITINGS. HOW COULD I POSSIBILY BE THE ONLY PERSON WHO SEES THE BEAUTY IN HER CRAFT. THERE WAS SIMPLY NO COMPARISON. NOTHING COULD COME TO COMPARISON, NOTHING I TELL YOU.
LET ME TELL YOU I NEVER KNEW WHAT IT WAS LIKE TO WORSHIP, TO TRULY HAVE A RELIGION THAT I SO DEEPLY BELIEVED IN UNTIL I READ RAINBOW CITY. IT WAS EVERYTHING ANYONE COULD EVER NEED IN A BL. ILL DEFEND THIS GODDESS'S WORKS UNTIL I DIE.
EVEN IF LATER ON SHE LOSES HER CHARM AND WRITES TRASH, ILL STILL WORSHIP HER WORKS AS IF SHE WROTE THE HOLY BIBLE. THAT'S HOW GOOD RAINBOW CITY WAS. AND WHEN PEOPLE ASK ME "is it really that good?" I TELL THEM "it's just that good" BECAUSE IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW COMPLEX I EXPLAIN IT, HOW COULD I EVER EXPLAIN WHAT RAINBOW CITY MEANS TO ME, HOW COULD I EVER EXPLAIN THAT HEAVENLY FEELING I FELT WHEN I READ IT.
HOW COULD ANY AMOUNT OF MY WORSHIP BE EQUAL TO WHAT SHE BESTOWED UOPN ME THIS BLESSING.
RAINBOW CITY WAS A BLESSING BESTOWED UPON THIS FILTHY EARTH BY A GODDESS. PEOPLE WHO DISRESPECT HER WORK DONT DESERVE TO SEE IT WITH THEIR FILTHY, UGLY EYES. THEY DON'T EVEN DESERVE TO SAY MY LORD AND SAVIOR'S GODLY NAME.
