All of you who as saying kill the kid are disgusting. He’s what? 8 years old? Even if he was in a loving and respectful relationship with his father (he obviously isn’t), he wouldn’t be able to stand up to a full grown adult man. He’s scared of his father but he’s still tried to help the kids the best he can. The idea that he deserves to die for trying to save himself and his father is gross. I’m not saying not telling the king where the kids are is good but come on, are you telling me that everyone is completely selfless and willing to die for every mistake they made? I’m sure most of us aren’t. The kids only mistake is not having enough power to stop his dad and really what can he do with that? Stop saying that characters who have a one flaw deserve to die, especially when they’re a child and still learning. And before the argument comes up that he should’ve just asked to save himself and not his father, when most of us were 8, could we abandon a parent? A lot of kids, unless the parent was so so so horrible to them, understand they depend on their parent to live so even if they’re absolutely suck and are a piece of trash, they’ll want to save them. I get the duke is a piece of trash, I’m rooting for the king to kill him and adopt the son low key, but stop bashing the kid for his actions and think about it. You all are having absolutely unreasonable standards for an 8 year old surrounded by swords and threatened with the death of his entire family like gosh
I came here to get some smut and hopefully some fluff, which I got. At the beginning, now honestly I’m just waiting to see how it’s gonna end, it’s just so darn interesting. I think Itsuki is probably my favorite character and I don’t believe he deserves that treatment, but all of the emotions running around really makes this so interesting! The conflict of morals and ethics really bring the story onto a new level. I’m not one for incest but feel bad for all the characters and their emotions. You can’t really control who you love, even when they aren’t good for you.
Ok I originally came here for the smut and possible fluff, but at this point I am staying because it’s just so damn interesting. I have been reading this for awhile and although I normally hate the storyline for the omegaverse this one has a good plot and keeps me interested. It’s hard to do but every once in awhile I come across such good reads that really get me thinking. This is one such read. At this point in time I cannot tell who is the “bad guy” is and a clear antagonist and protagonist is boring, which makes this even more interesting. The mix up of ethics, morals, and whether people were actually in control of their actions is what keeps me waiting for new updates. The idea of whether or not it was rape really depends on the scene and how the author says that characters are affected by hormones, but you also have to understand that even though the MC’s aren’t human exactly they are “people” too, so their mistakes and actions obviously wrong to us might not be to them depending on the situations and society they live in as well as their mental state. Both MC’s are really horrible towards each other but at the same time they bring out the best in each other, that is something that is interesting, especially considering how they are going to deal with all the shit they created. I know people are probably going to hate me, but I really don’t like either of their characters on their own. One is whiny and self obsessed but at the same time he has reasons for being so and is actually logical and sometimes a little fiery cinnamon roll, the other one is trying to go against the norm and respects people for who they are but at the same time doesn’t care about consequences and when treating everyone equally he usually treats them badly or just not good. But together they are honestly what makes it so interesting. So in conclusion I don’t really have a side on who is bad and who isn’t because it’s all grey to me right now, but it’s quite a good manga due to actually catching my interest because of the moral dilemmas and just the overall story. Also I stay for all of the discussions in the comments cuz wow those are so interesting and fun to read all of your guys’ takes on the story plot and everyone else’s ideas! P.s. sorry for the essay!
Appreciate ur thoughts and love your analysis! I sort of feel the same way, but you've worded it perfectly!
Maybe it’s just me but I felt the beginning part was focused on Jamil and the end was focused on Pray. I mean it wasn’t my fav poly story or story in general due to the bland plot but I think they both got time in the spotlight and then they ended it all together. In the beginning it was about Jamil and Jan and then it was about Jan and Pray. And then the end was them all together. And their relationship is different but I think you all are missing the key factor here. Pray and Jan really lovey dovey because they both have actual feelings. They might seem closer to us because they share their feelings. Jamil and Jan’s relationship is different because Jamil isn’t like Pray in that sense. Jan and Jamil still love eachother but just because their relationship is different because of one aspect I don’t think Jan, Pray, or the author was treating Jamil like a “side piece” as some of the comments are saying. That’s my two cents anyways, it was a fine enough story.
