Transformation stories

Hello, can anyone please recommend me good transformation stories? It can be transformations like from fat to thin, ugly to beauty, weak to strong, dumb to intellectual, poor to rich, etc.
I just want to feel the secondhand satisfaction of protagonists overcoming those who once belittled them or the feel good moment when people are shocked/amazed by the sudden transformation of the MC.
If anyone knows great ones, pls suggest some~

Hello, can anyone recommend mangas with deep and meaningful/beautiful storylines. Maybe something similar to the works of Sahara Mizu or maybe something poignant like 5cm per second. Anything that can evoke such emotions. Can be one shots as well, as long as the story made an impact on you

    If you haven't read or watch the movie Koe No Katachi (A Silent Voice) you should definitely watch/read it. And anything directed by Mamoru Hosoda are awesome too.

    Oh wait sorry, Mamoru Hosoda works are all movies but I don't know if it has manga adaptation, but if you like movies, try them out as well.

    Oyasumi punpun, it's dark but provokes a lot of thought. I also recommend Koe no Katachi but the manga version has a lot more content than the film. Mushishi is nice and contemplative, akin to old folklore.

    In terms of anime, maybe Violet Evergarden or Garden of Words. Kino no Tabi (2003) gets deep with its philosophies.

    I love Sahara mizu, esp. araburu kisetsu!! the works of these 2 authors reminded me of it, specifically these two works in particular:

    the art and story was A1 in my opinion.. def check out their works if you like Sahara mizu

    Whoops I just realized I mistook the without of araburu kisetu as Sahara mizu my brain cells are at peak functioning condition LMFAO
