But this author is just not skilled enough to convey that story, and it’s a shame too cause it’s a good premise if explored properly.
If this was better written people would not hate it as much is my point. It’s not so much the premise, it’s the quality of writing.
What if when he gets his memories back he stops loving Shane because Hearth just didn’t feel that way. That could also be why the lord banished him altogether, because Hearth himself was never gonna love Shane like Shane wanted.
I think this story handles the fact that he’s a new person very well I haven’t seen that in a while.
