Although i do like the thing with pairs and heats and the omega/alpha's having these instincts. And also them being able to have a family. There is a SHIT ton of rape.. It's fcking normal there to rape omegas?? And then they also blame the omega for their pheremones :,,( (Also it feels kind of weird seeing a guy pregnant..) Tho I REALLY enjoy the ......

Idk, but i like this omegaverse story, pretty cute http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/tadaima_okaeri/

I mean, I'd rather avoid omegaverses. There are really cool omegaverse BL stories, but overall, I don't really enjoy the concept. Heats and ruts lead to a loveless sex and often justify "losing control" and raping the omega. The idea of men getting pregnant is fine for me, but I'd rather they adopt a child, I don't know why. Omegaverse is normally ......

Wasted potential. It’s antithetical to its predecessor (a/b/o) which (in regards to abo) was made in order for trans and homosexual youth (sometimes even elders) to have an explore their queerness through a sort of mythical lense. We see through like early a/b/o works that hierarchy was something oppressive and not natural, but now it’s estra......

Well, imho it's a bit hard having wholesome content in a world that's mainly driven by primal instincts. Because that's basically what ABO is - humans reduced to wild beasts, following their nature/instincts. And I mean, technically it's not only alphas going on a rampage during their rut - if omegas are in heat, they're supposed to be willing and ......

I once read a Chinese bl webnovel about omegaverse but the tag is shounen-ai so I was very confused. And there are almost no sexual tension, mostly about gaming and it was soooo good. Even when the uke's heat started(which I thought they would do it), instead the seme was being gentle and brought him to the hospital for a check up. My horny ass was......

I think it's ok. It's not my position to judge. But I have seen omegaverse that is generally fluffy and with no themes of TW: past rape, assault, rape, or manipulation. (though there are pheromones, cause.. it's omegaverse what'd ya expect.) These are usually in the form of novels and not manga so *shrugs* It's an ok genre as long as it dosen't go......

it actually depends to the author how well versed they want use the trope. I have read many omegaverse ranged from farming, modern, and futuristic. I personally read abo just for the pregnant and social build.

Generally, omegaverse is supposed to highlight the inequities in our own world. So basically, its the usual yaoi rape cliches, tied in with institutionalized sexism. Its not that far off from how women are treated in today's society, hiding behind fake biological reasoning as to why omegas ought to be treated badly. Some people who read BL want su......

Well I do admit the concept is a bit shitty and problematic especially with the amount of normalized rape in there. However I have come across some exceptionally good ones which I have included in one of my reading lists(do check it if you're interested) I only like reading it cause some smut scenes(consented ones) are very hot lol. Also the BABIES......

Yeah, even the wholesome ones have 'close calls' or discussion of past rape. I really like the genre because I feel like I have found some good ones. But like I said, they still have close calls or discussion of past rape. One of my favorite ones though doesn't even center around sex though, so that was a nice change of pace. Here are some of my fa......

Love the genre but I’m so fcking tired of how rape is just as normal as breathing. I’ve only read a few stories that are true diamonds in the rough: Megumi to tsugumi, love is an illusion, Kiraide Isasete, and Kashikomarimashita Destiny. Love shuttle is ok just boring as hell, and the omega call has got to be one of the worst stories I’ve eve......

I personally love omegaverses. The heats, nesting, the bite marks are actually pretty romantic when done right with proper consent. As far as the r/pe goes, its literally rampant in most yaois, if people can still read yaoi despite that, i don't see why omegaverse is not readable. I mostly avoid the r/pey ones.

There's actually this one really good omega verse manga I read, which is called "Kiraide Isasete" and the omega has a tragic backstory but the actual couple is wholesome and the alpha never forced himself on the omega. However, other than that specific manga most omegaverse stories aren't very pleasing to read through.
