Tbh I never felt good while reading Ken and Hasekura's "love" story. Since day one it feels like Ken only sees Hasekura as a precious friend and nothing more, and all of his romantic actions are only so his friend won't disappear. Hasekura, on the other hand, seems unable to let go of his unrequited love exactly bc Ken won't allow them to put distance between themselves, and he keeps acting in this dubious way, letting Hasekura alway wonder what they are.
I wish Hasekura would just find someone who loves him and who he can love back without feeling constantly like they are just friends, even if it means he stops being friends with Ken.
QiuYu really just said rules for thee not for me uh. I've been a bit disappointed in him for a couple chapters now, first with this obsession in turning his lover into a "successful" man (according to his own standards), and now meddling with his big bro's love life (the only reason I can see to that is that he is afraid HE will be affected if his brother were to also come out to the family).
He is showing himself to be really selfish, which is problematic.
I..... what is this trend in yaoi where you take a very abusive an toxic man that nearly destroyed someone they claimed to like and then make a whole story about how they arent THAT bad and deserve forgiveness and love... the only thing they deserve is to pay for their crimes the hell
I think it's more about the redemption arc and how he changes as a person. Sure, Masaki did some fucked up shit but everyone makes mistakes, some more serious than the other. I also think that Masaki just wanted someone to notice and love him. That doesn't excuse his wrongdoings, he should have a punishment. (I mean, Bakugou from bnha is also a real jackass but people still loved him for some reason)
I agree with you soo much, I read this before I read his other story and idk how to feel about him he didn’t even apologize but he made mistakes and never apologized which makes me not like his character. Also bakugou is a total dick and everyone loves him, I can’t stand him, people ignore the fact that he was a bully for quite some time. If he was fat and ugly the views on him would be so much different, but people aren’t ready for that conversation
