I really like this kind of plot. The plot where the player (or the one who ignores you) experienced how it feels to be ignored by the person they like, who used to like them. I MEAN, imagine someone giving up theirself just for you to give them the chance to prove on you that you can love them. But you just treat them like nothing. Do you even know how much it takes to lower yourself for the person you like? Sometimes I really hope they dont end up to each other. He gave him too many scars already. The pain of those days.

The way the ML is hated makes me giggle because yes he played with the uke’s feelings BUT he’s a traumatised guy who’s trying to give justice to his murdered parents ?? Because of this context I am less inclined to witch hunt him like the rest of the comments. Like I am sorry but I would do anything to find out what happened to my parents if they also met the same fate. Or maybe everyone has mysteriously forgotten? Just like the uke tbh. Also the uke is annoying me he’s becoming badly written because again the ml was right he’s being immature and willing to go through pain and suffering for his pride. Just take the money and dip ??? By insisting on paying back money that’s just impossible for you why not take it and go somewhere and start again because the money is enough to do that? Like hello those BLs were the uke just leaves and starts an anonymous life…he can literally do that. He’s not smart and just likes to suffer thanks to the author. Just unserious. Not saying the ML is a saint but yea…writing went from interesting to downright torturous.

And for everyone going yes he’s giving him a taste of his own medicine…by having sexual relations with him under the context of a taunt?? He’s in love with that man and wants to fuck. He never fell out of love in contrast with the ML who didn’t even know he was in love until the end of the last arc. There’s such a big difference so he’s never going to truly give him the “taste of his medicine”. I’m just not impressed because the uke’s actions are just so immature I can’t take him nor the development of this relationship seriously. He’s currently too self-sabotaging which again plot conveniences for the inevitable end game.

So again another point is that because the uke never fell out of love and he insists on suffering…how can you champion this as strength? This blind praise of him as strength when in real life I would honestly consider him a victim of his own actions. This isn’t strength. It is just nonsensical writing and and in real life this would have serious consequences.

'Want to cut ties but let me get fucked by you again, just horny don't mind me' vibe

Yeah the seme is hot but uke's common sense is a thing I can't comprehend.

The top Korean comments there:

“ Kwon Je-Hyuk that’s your karma. If you want to win our Yeonoh's heart again, you have to work hard”

Exec Director finally feeling regret.
It’s thrilling that the relationship dynamic between them has changed.

Yeon-oh finally giving back the same energy. No matter how much Executive Director Kwon heart flutters, Yeon-o wont stand it anymore~~~!!

The general consensus is that ppl are happy the author
made the smug seme be brought down a peg, it’s what he deserved ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I'm so done with the readers here thinking he's dumb. He's not and he clearly knows what he's doing. Sex is what is there into their relationship. That Kwon is not fucking different from the men he had been with. He quickly assumed that he was sleeping around which is yeah it's due to MC not saying anything but HE ALSO FORCED HIMSELF ON HIM. The uke is putting him in his place. Just because he saved him doesn't mean he's any different from those scumbags. He's done being involved with Kwon's fucking life. HE GOT RAPED MULTIPLE TIMES AND HIS USELESS FATHER JUST DIED. HE GOT KIDNAPPED, BEATEN AND HIS DIGNITY SHATTERED TO PIECES. AND Y'ALL CALLING HIM DUMB?

Lol if Yeon-Oh TRULY wanted to cut his relation with Kwon, he should've just let the 1 billion be Kwon's responsibility and not have anything to do with him anymore instead of trying to repay it for who knows how long, after all it's just like Kwon said, him being kidnapped wasn't his fault and no one told Kwon to just leave that bag of money there...

But of course the author *had* to find some ways to keep them both interacting, right?

Why are y'all so mad at yeon-oh?? He's frustrated af and jaehyuk won't let him pay him back normally and cut ties so can we really blame him for thinking jaehyuk wants to be repaid in sex when that's all their relationship ever was?? Yeon-oh's at a point that he really don't give af anymore and if he's stuck with jaehyuk he might as well make his life just as miserable by telling him he'd have to use the 'skills' jaehyuk showed him on other people to get money to pay the debt off

I think people are being too harsh on Mr Kwon. Sure, I get that he mistreated Yeon-oh for quite some time, & the fact that he forcefully had sex with him right after the incident in the club didn't help either. But aren't you forgetting something? The situation back then was extremely complicated. For one, there was that issue w/ the USB that Yeon-oh had found but didn't tell Mr Kwon about b/c he was afraid of losing the only connection (the USB) to Mr Kwon. This angered him & broke the trust he had for Yeon-oh. Then Yeon-oh got himself into trouble at the club in a reckless move to console himself after the quarrel w/ Mr Kwon & almost got himself raped. Luckily Mr Kwon intervened just in time, but the response he got was "why did you come?", and I'm not trying victim blame Yeon-oh, but he was so defiant in his answers that Mr Kwon mistakenly thought he was out looking for sex or a new sugar daddy. Now to be fair, Mr Kwon did not fully grasp the circumstances until he reviewed the hidden camera clip much later, & only then did he realize he misunderstood Yeon-oh & the whole situation. Now back to the issue of the forced sex, sure it was wrong on so many levels & could never be justified under any circumstances. And I don't condone it either. But that being said, I understood the frame of mind the two were in that led to it, Yeon-oh who was in a world of pain thinking he'd never have Mr Kwon's love, could not bring himself to be more amicable & as a result further escalated an already very tense situation, and Mr Kwon who was incensed & feeling betrayed finally snapped b/c of the way Yeon-oh handled things & probably in his mind, he just gave him by force the very thing (sex) he sought at the club. Mind you, these two individuals have their own flaws & each contributed somewhat to the deterioration of things. I know, they should've talked right? Sure, but in the heat of the moment, actions spoke louder than words, & unfortunately that was what they both chose. But again, from an emotional standpoint, I understand this also. Everything was so hectic & happened in such rapid succession, the clashing of so many negative emotions, the broken trust, the misunderstanding, who could have spared any thoughts about talking things out when both were so heated & high-strung ready to snap? I think Mr Kwon had paid his due during this chasing arc. I think he sincerely regretted the entire thing once he understood the situation. I don't think he needs to grovel or beg more, but I think he deserves a final clear answer to his love confession. As for Yeon-oh, I think he needs to decide & give that final answer so as not to further torture himself too. Whether it's a yes or a no is up to him, whatever is best for him.

Mum is the only good character in this whole book. Everyone likes cain but he’s manipulative and he’s secretive. He will do everything for you and eventually you’ll get so fed up of not knowing the man you’re in a relationship with that you’ll break up with him for not being in this relationship with you in an emotional and mental sense. Yahwi is trying bless him but he’s not gonna be able to fix the bridges he burned. He needs therapy and he needs to heal. He can’t be with anyone right now. Anyone and anything can trigger him and make him go back to being an AH and that’s not good for anyone. I do like him for being the only character that’s acknowledged everything they’ve done wrong and tried to change. Cain and jooin won’t acknowledge any of their wrong doing to other people and don’t try to change to better themselves AT ALL. That being said, I still want yahwi single for the time being. He needs healing not romance. Jooin is a mess. He’s sloppy and he’s not thinking about anyone but himself. Yes you’re the main character of your own story but that doesn’t mean other people have to view you as such. That’s such an entitled way of thinking. He takes comfort in these two men and uses them but never commits to either one. He plays them against each other for no reason other than neither of them being EXACTLY what he wants. He refuses to even suggest that both of them are what he wants and that maybe trying a poly or open relationship might be a good way forward. He refuses to ignore anyone’s affections outright by just leaving their lives completely and cutting the cord. He just expects that they stay but at the same time wants both of them to leave their bad parts and their ugly parts at the front door. It doesn’t work like that. If you want someone to know you, you need to OFFER information and not just wait for it. He’s pulling a burr here and he will thoroughly regret it. Right now, he wants everything and anything that could be good for him but he’s not doing anything to get them and to hold them close to his heart. Relationships are hard work both ways. He expects both of them to work hard but not himself. He revels in yahwis obsession and remorse and his devastation from his past because it means jooin isn’t the only messed up person around and he seeks comfort in subservient yet secretive cain because he doesn’t actually care about cains life or hobbies, he wants cain as cain wants to be presented: as an obedient and comforting dog. Honestly, I hate the whole book but it’s like I’m watching a trainwreck and can’t look away. I want to say I’m done with this book but I need to know if jooin ever gets his head out his ass and starts actually behaving like a normal person and not an entitled spoiled brat. As always, I’m hoping cain and yahwi seek therapy and are able to work through their issues and start healing and putting themselves first in a healthy way. Jooin needs more than just therapy right now so I’ll hold off on wishing anything for him.

I feel taeju's character is realistic. We have to take into account that this is an omegaverse and their pheromones and hormones and all that shit sometimes alters their actions (if you don't like that concept, don't read omegaverses. Or at least this one because like it or not, this is the author's take on it) taeju is literally a gangster that is accustoming to getting what he wants. He never seemed to have had love before and just went through life fucking around to sate his needs. He was rich and handsome and because of that quite frankly because of that he was spoilt getting everything he wants. He didn't have to think twice about anything and just went through life doing what he wanted.

Then euihyun arrives. At first he thought of him as just a pawn he can play around with as he's accustomed to doing but he realizes that it's different this time. He's genuinely beginning to have feelings for euihyun. He's not just attracted by pheromones, this isnt just because euihyun is an omega and he's an alpha. He genuinely has feelings for him. We see him get more jealous/possessive/clingy/needy to euihyun like a territorial animal (if you read enough omegaverses you'll usually see those feelings get heightened when feelings get involved). He realizes he doesn't just want him as a pawn, he genuinely wants HIM. This realization finally hits clear to him and for the first time in his life he has something to fight for, something to work towards and be hopeful for. And we can see how he's genuinely trying to work towards that. We can already see how he doesn't only see euihyun as an omega at his will anymore. But as someone he truly cares for and wants to make happy. And we need to remember he's young too. He was just a spoilt kid at the beginning of this but he's maturing and he really is trying to help and care for euihyun. Taeju's realistic in my eye. From someone who had no care in the world, just living life through their instincts (as an alpha) to someone who can see past all of that and willing to suppress those urges (i'm hoping you all realize that) and work on putting it second behind euihyun and his happiness.

I didn't expect to rant so much but I think his character is well written and his progression is realistic

I'm so lost
What does the seme want actually? Till the very end when Yeonho gave back the pendrive to Jaehyuk, JH still insisted on not having any romantic/genuine feelings towards YN. To the point when YN requested him to say "I love you" one last time, JK responded "I'd be lying then. Do you still want me to say it?" Like he was dead set on not wanting a serious relationship till the very beginning upto that point.

But then suddenly he took a 180 turn the moment YN left just like he requested? Now he is stalking and intervening everywhere in YN's life, making unreasonable requests? Like leave him the fuck alone u creep

I don't know how to feel. It's obvious that he's regretting what he did but with how things are being shown, it feels like the rape is just going to be portrayed as him "being insensitive and rough and forceful" instead of what it actually was: rape. Even on the side of the MC, I don't think he's ever going to acknowledge what was actually done to him. If I recall it properly, he even apologized to the rich guy during the end of s1. I guess that's just the problem with the BL genre. Rape is never called what it is unless the person doing the rape is not the ML. If it's the ML doing it, he's just "treating him roughly and terribly".

Yeah, no. It is pretty convenient that Jaehyuk gets to drag Yeon Ho around agaiN by just — asking to see him??? Like.
I’m sure an actual plot-incident happening would’ve been a better way to incite a restarting of their relationship than making everything so easy and malleable for the ML.
Moreover, Jaehyuk not changing his ways has to change.
It’s not respectful. Like, my dude, have you no concept of consent???
It’s selfish to look into somebody like that to still have the upperhand.
Kksvsvzgahgshsh. Jwfwnzbmzk. Ugh.

the seme was the one adamant that they were nothing but a monetary transaction. He ridiculed the uke for developing feelings, harshly rebuked him multiple times and yet you want the uke to get over it?

The seme never apologised or admitted that he cared for the uke, why did y’all expect Yeon-oh to suddenly fall in love and be so fucking grateful for the forced attention & money??

Yeon-oh is giving the seme a stark reminder of how and why their relationship started in the first place, and it’s well deserved.

So many people are acting as if Yeon-ho is being stupid for telling him that he will pay back the 1 billion won, but you have to understand it from his perspective.
His relationship with Kwon has been nothing but transactional from the start.
Kwon acted as his sponsor to bolster his acting career, and in exchange, Yeon-ho was to pretend as if they were in a relationship and retrieve the USB for Kwon.
Even though he knew this from the start, Yeon-ho found himself catching feelings but once Kwon re-established the nature of their relationship, Yeon-ho was forced to take a look at reality.
He never was anything more than a pawn in Kwon's game, an object used to fulfill an objective that Kwon had been seeking for years.
For someone like Yeon-ho, who's never really had anyone to truly care for him and love him, Kwon's kindness was something he clung onto because it was all he had, and for once, it made him feel loved and made him feel special. But, to be reminded that it was all a ruse sort of reaffirms his life experiences and has hardened him incredibly.
He's scared to trust once more. He's scared to be vulnerable again. He's scared to allow himself to be swayed and fooled by this kindness again because if the first time was transactional, why would this situation be any different?
He doesn't want to owe Kwon anything. He doesn't want to have to rely on him in exchange for anything else.
In his mind, in order to be fully be free of him and not continue this transactional relationship, he has to cut complete ties with him, and the last thing tying them together is the 1 billion won.
I hope this makes sense lol
