Did you see?? Wait...
YOU GUYS! YOU'LL LOVE THE NEXT CHAPTER! I CAN'T FUCKING STAY PUT!
So... he does know how he feels. Finally, jesus. I like how the author had Yeon Oh standing on the stairs looking down at Jaehyun while Jaehyun was lower and looking up at Yeon Oh in this pivotable scene. It's imagery and analogous to the dynamic between the two of them flipping where Yeon Oh is now in a position of power because Jaehyun wants him and will do anything to make him happy. Jaehyun also came to him to set the facts straight, Yeon Oh wasn't the one to make contact after the news. The chasing arc isn't over until Yeon Oh gives in though so there's a tiny bit hope that Jaehyun will keep struggling.
I can't stop thinking about their third and last meeting!! Like, where does JH plan to take YO? Somewhere significant? Maybe the beach? His mom's childhood home again? Will they ever talk about what's going on between them?! If not, maybe he can talk about how he first met YO when he was 15...how they https://imgur.com/a/53GiSR1. He can even give YO some peace of mind by saying he'll never have to worry about the loanshark again. Better if he mentions the video, but I don't think he will.
It's another "last time with YO" for JH, does the thought unsettle him still? Will he ask for more time before driving YO home? Will he latch onto YO's hand as he exits the car? Will he steal a kiss? Perhaps brushing YO's hair before saying good night with a forlorn smile isn't asking too much? And how will things be after these meetings? Will JH leave YO alone now? He knows YO will never voluntarily seek him out. Does he find ways to reach out without being intrusive? Something I noticed is that, while he'll consider the debt cleared, he didn't say shit about getting out of YO's hair. :/
I'm thinking, maybe, it will do them good if they spend some time apart? JH can occupy himself with the trial/investigation until it's done, so, when he's finally realized/accepted that he wants to be with YO (romantically), they no longer have this problem (the other 2 equally asshole-y Kwons) hanging over them. And YO, the loanshark is dead and I doubt Ko Seokyong can still be considered a threat (but maybe that friend of his?), he's not rat poor, debts' a thing of the past, his family's taken care of, and his career seems to be doing fine, so...I dunno. Go take those acting lessons?
Alsooooo, is it just me or their meetings were kind of meh? I guess the second was okay...ish? What was the first one even about? Recreating their Christmas? Revisiting their first rendezvous? I thought you guys were going "to talk." This was your way of "[apologizing] for how rude [you've] been"?? Kwon, he's been wanting to cut ties with your sorry ass and all you did was squander your chances. You haven't done anything that actually matters. Again, use your words. With YO, I bet they'll carry more weight. If you find you're still unable to say that you like/love him, atleast admit that you liked having him around, that he's one of the few good people in your miserable life, that you didn't really think he was a whore and that it was a huge mistake on your part for saying so, or that you felt possessive but didn't know how to deal with it (or you can just be extra truthful and say your assumptions bruised your ego). Tell him that even if you're unable to reciprocate his feelings now, he's important to you and you care for him profoundly, which is why you're always gonna mind YO's business. And maybe all you need is time because all these fuwa fuwa doki doki kyun kyun shit is uncharted territory for you. It's too high a hurdle, but if YO can be patient for one more time, you will get there. Ugh. Just...fucking say nice things to him, man. Very rarely did you ever. I remember more unkind words than nice ones, to be honest. Maybe you will part with YO believing he'll never win your heart, but atleast he's not gonna feel like shit about himself anymore. And oh, don't forget to say or hint that you're not interested in Prosecutor Min!
Ok, I'll shut up now. Forgive me, I'm bored stiff. *goes back to reading MM*

How does Song Jaemin (YO's erstwhile classmate and now coworker, well, in season 1) know of JH? They said there's an actor who kinda resembles JH, but is that why he looked familiar? Am I just thinking too much???? (⊙…⊙ )
Kwon needs to redo https://imgur.com/a/kNL9STl, but this time, for YO only. I'm still a little hurt by this scene. In fact, this stung way more than when YO saw JH and Min together for the first time.

[Calm the fuck down. It was just a dream.]
Dream YO rouses and Dream JH kisses him on the cheek, making YO blush. JH says YO must have been tired as he'd been watching him sleep for quite a while now and YO still didn't seem to want to wake any time soon. As YO addresses JH, he's told that it's time to get up. Else he'll miss his flight. His name being called out wakes YO up for real this time.
***
On the way to the airport, YO recalls a snippet of his conversation with JH during their second meeting. JH says they only have one more meeting left, and YO inquires as to why he decided on the (three) meetings. JH says it was just an excuse he made on a whim, thinking he'll never see YO again the moment the latter steps out of his office. He says he just felt the need to stall (or hold on to). YO, hopeful?, prompted for an explanation, and JH says he was hoping YO would just demand something from him, anything. He clarifies that in reality, he doesn't know for certain, though, he wishes there was more he could do.
YO doesn't know what to make of JH's words as they were answers he wasn't expecting.

As YO waits to board, a television nearby shows photos of JH with Prosecutor Min, and it's not the first time that YO has seen them together (chapter 39). Along with the controversies surrounding Haekang, rumors abound that the two have been seeing each other even way before the investigation began.
*
Onboard the plane, it's nighttime, but YO doesn't sleep. JH with Prosecutor Min occupy his mind and mock his dream that morning. He chastises himself with the reminder that JH never mentioned anything about having a specific relationship with YO, and he despairs that whatever they have going, once ended, will solely affect him. He warns himself not to read into things again.
***
JH is at Prosecutor Min's office and she catches wind of the rumor, claiming it's the kind of news that only her father would feel pleased about. Min turns her screen to JH and notices a change in his demeanor. She asks if it's to do with his lover. Min asks if it bothers JH, but he says no. His thoughts prove otherwise.
[Access to JH's thoughts again, yay!] The article has him worried, thinking that, somehow, it might make an impression on YO. Two flashbacks cut in: YO asking JH why he wanted to stall him from leaving (his office) to which he couldn't even come up with a decent answer; and YO asserting that he doesn't want to have anything to do with JH anymore (chapter 70). JH doesn't doubt the veracity of those words, but the expression YO had on his face when he uttered them bothers him that JH...*and JH makes an expression like something hit him*

What is it, Kwon? What did you realize??
IDK Jaehyuk has been looking surprised and confounded a lot this season, he's much slower and dumber than we thought. If he still hasn't realized how he feels at this point, maybe he never will. I kind of want Jaehyuk to keep being oblivious and messing up so after their 3rd meeting Yeon Oh can move on. I think based on Yeon Oh's dream he's subconsciously beginning to forgive Jaehyuk otherwise he wouldn't be fantasizing about Jaehyuk waking him up lovingly, caressing his face and hair and kissing him. The fact that Yeon Oh is bothered by Jaehyuk's dating news is proof he's far from over Jaehyuk. I knew they would end up together but still disappointed. It feels like the moral of the story here is that if you're shitty to someone you can erase it with gifts and favors. The story has stopped making sense to me, how can he still not know how he feels after he's killed, paid a 1 billion won ramson and risked bodily harm for Yeon Oh.

Edit: Had to correct something in paragraph 4
OMG. I didn't think we'd read #77 this week.
***
Somewhere in Europe (?), an all made-up YO poses in front of a camera. In between takes, he lets the rumor on JH and Prosecutor Min fester his mind. If there's any truth to it, YO doesn't have the resolve to find out. To casually dismiss it, YO doesn't believe he can.
After wrapping up, the team goes out for an after-party, but exhaustion and jetlag deter YO from joining.
*
Snow peppers the street as he walks back toward their lodgings, but JH stands in his way before he makes it. JH has something he wants to get out of his chest and would prefer to do it face-to-face. He suggests they go for a short walk.
As they amble through, YO worries his face may be betraying his thoughts. JH, on the other hand, drags his feet. Tired and very much wanting to rest (more like he cannot wait to get away ), YO urges JH to speak. JH asks if YO has seen "the" article.
YO says JH could've just sent him a message if it's about that. He then vaguely remarks that their recent meetings could lead to unfounded suspicions, but JH doesn't make the connection. YO thinks it's a bit sad how JH seems to know of his every move, but that anything concerning JH, he hears from other people. For this reason, JH didn't have to go out of his way to inform YO of his relationship (with Min). YO will have gotten wind of it eventually.
JH denies the rumor, calling the article a fabrication peddled by the other party in the trial, and that his relationship with the prosecutor doesn't even come close to what they were insinuating. He's worried YO will believe otherwise.
YO asks if JH has come all this way just to talk about that. JH responds that, somehow, he just felt the need to.
"To what end?"
JH says he doesn't want YO to misunderstand. He then confesses to believing it was guilt that kept him around YO, but has come to the realization that it wasn't the case. No, he wasn't concerned about fair compensation. He's there because he simply wanted to be.
He says he hasn't been behaving like a proper adult, and though it may be lame to say it now, but things such as YO's likes, his dislikes, what he looks forward to doing in the future, JH wants to know them all. If something distresses YO, JH wants to be the person he will turn to. If someone were to bring happiness to YO, JH wishes he could be that person.
-end-
Well, never had I ever....that's a confession right there. I've always wondered how it would be like for him to be sweet and sincere, but this is way better than what I imagined. You earn points, Kwon. Funny, though, how most readers are swooning over his words but have no inclination to end his suffering any time soon.
Did I forget to hide the content? I'm so sorry! It's still hidden, though.

There's no denying it. This is the first time Kwon has fallen in love. I bet it's the same for YO. Can't wait for #78! Anything as long as...
YO doesn't take JH to his room to fill his hole. Hehe. I doubt he will, though. I do feel it's going to take YO a bit before he warms up to the idea of getting back with JH. I have no reason to believe he'll jump right in next chapter.
