His step-mom kill the little girl, and sent her in a box to the apartment, where the really nice "sex friend" was who will probably would had gotten frame for murder, expect that he is going to get kill by that mantis who was waiting for a job, while our main character jumps off a cliff to his death! WHAT!

In Chapter 58. Igen is looking over Kassan talking about he has grown, his finger nails has grown and they had to be cut, and his lips being chapped. Igen said "I'll take care of it for you. Yeah. So whenever you open your eyes, It'll be like nothing happened." That would be your answer.

So, He is preserving Kassan's appearance. If he is having Kassan's fingernail's clipped, then the same could be said for Kassan's hair.

Plus, with Kassan being in a coma, shorter hair is easier to maintain.

What I am bothered about it how did Kassan survive 3 years in a coma during those times. Why 3 years? Why a coma, which are mostly caused by brain inquiry (there are other reasons). I know the doctor said it was due to being psychological. So maybe Kassan thought he died and the brain did that?? How was he feed? Was he walked around because, I am not a doctor, but after three years he should not have much muscle mass and may had to learn to walk again. He was moving okay, so he must not been immobile the whole time. In ways to me Kassan's state was just months after it happen not years.
I have read some people that has been in the comas has to learn to talk again, walk again, and learn other skills. I have read the longer someone stays in a coma, the greater chance is they will die or be in a vegetable state.

Igen really did take care of him while he was in the coma. From walking him, bathing him, cleaning Kassan and the bed(or something they had there) after Kassan used the bathroom, to somehow feeding him with out having issues. Kassan could had gotten sick during that time as well and that would been hard to take care of as well. In those times, so much was against Kassan and some how Igen was really lucky Kassan survived.

So, Igen cutting Kassan's hair and keeping that length is not a far fetched idea as to what is bothering me. This is my favorite story. I love this story and I do over look it this. Maybe coma's are different in that universe? I wished he was in a coma for a few months instead of Three years, or no coma at all.

Igen really loves Kassan to go through all that trouble to keep him alive when he was in the coma. Lots of effort and love.
