I’m actually kind of relieved to hear that XD they do give the black haired group member the framing of a male lead kind of often, but he hasn’t actually done anything noteworthy, and I think the old subordinate has the history, the yearning, and the number of actions taken to progress the story to be a decent endgame boyfriend
