Actually, the manga ending is better than the anime (in terms of deaths)
I'm spleechess. From the start the main character and the storyline were deep. The thoughts of becoming a monster pierced my heart because that's how I feel of myself. Eventhough the art is different than other mangas, it didn't bother me at all. On the contrary, the drawings created a poetic and sweet atmosphere that I loved.
I just read the prequel and was like "oh this comment talked about Kami having a better relationship with another guy in the sequel let's go!"
so I hurried 'cause my heart was bleeding seeing him so sad and... the end of chapter 2 broke my heart even more T_T
