immediately thought of this manga when it got brought up ehehe https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/inu_mo_arukeba_koi_ga_hajimaru/

even if he is pretending, i've never thought about stacking perfumes before... that's kinda really big brained, especially for a unique smell

Oh, so fun fact...in Japan, perfumes are much lighter than in other places. We don't have heavy perfume and they're formulated in a way where it's stackable. It'll even tell you on the packaging which scent is layered where (eg. musk is bottom most layer, jasmine middle, fruity top, etc...). Like if I compare my Japanese perfumes to my American ones, the American ones are too strong to layer.

ahh that makes sense! that's such a nice thing to be able to do, i do agree that perfumes that are popular in the west tend to be super strong sometimes, so maybe that's also why i've never heard about people stacking them. (i mean, more than two sprays is enough to make my head dizzy)
this is such a nice culture exchange and learning experience from just a few panels

got me where it hurts the most... ho is absolutely correct, and i can also understand mr kwon's sentiments when it comes down to wanting to teach something to a kid but also realising/reflecting on if it's something that you picked up because of having to grow up too fast or not having someone to depend on yourself.
it's hard to figure out what lessons to lay out when you've been forced to learn all of them, and by yourself no less. and it's hard in some moments to step back and remember that a kid raised healthily will take time to learn and will depend on you during that process, unlike those who were forced to speed up the process.
but we all want the best for them and not to end up in a bad emotional/mental state TwT we're all learning after all, and i love this story for it hhhnngg it's also especially hard when you're not with the kid for most of the week so some lessons get undone by their guardians or other influences
i'm glad i waited for this to finish cooking
it's so bittersweet. it's sad they couldn't spend their time together longer in a world where they don't have to worry about literal zombies, but also- they've managed to stay together despite the situation. even in sickness and death...
