chapter 2 hit super close to home just because i also have a fluffy (doggy) of my own during my darkest time with the same name (wasabi). he may not be a mysterious creature and just a dog, but he sure does have the same healing affect as they do :)
the singular alpha concept is so interesting,, i love it when characters have some sort of quirk with their abo gender in omegaverse stories

also the fact that he's able to at least know that his family still loves him and didn't try to hide his existence away even after being terrified of him
bc i havent read the novel yet, i wonder what al will end up doing with kiev's offer. his current situation is why he's able to be close to akira in the first place, but if he never comes across kiev again or another full vampire ; he'd never get the ability to turn akira into a vampire if they do fall in love and all that jazz.
