It is worth the wait. I don't understand Korean but I was smiling reading through the MTLs. Their journey before becoming a couple was a process but it's cute and not so heavy. I think the only kinda boring part for me was backstory of the pig tailed girl how she became friends with the MC and eventually liked him. It was good but kinda too long for me.

I think this some kinda like an otome but in a horror setting. I feel that one of them was the first player and the others are playing as NPCs, then ofc you cant finish the story ending up being trapped there. I feel real life Doha might probably be the first player seeing how able he was in the game aready. Then people irl started playing then possessing the NPCs/characters in the game one by one. Maybe Seongchan was the second or the rest of the players went in next then they started playing until real life Bada played and possesed the character.

My other theory is that real life Seongchan is the first player and when real life Doha came into the picture and possessed the char Doha he mightve been jealous coz Doha is first this muscular and able guy then next he mightve been good at playing the game rather than him. Also maybe he like Bada too idk that's a possibility (their cousin relationship os just in the game i think not irl)

My biggest hunch here is that there are players here who know each other irl and that's probably Bada and Yongtaek. The way he keeps saying theyre friends/soulmates etc is sticking into me, ntm he said there are still part of his memories that are not recovered yet. Maybe the reason why real life Bada played the game. He probably followed one of the players. Maybe that's Yongtaek

This is surprisingly a good story. kinda underrated imo. The humor is there, conversations between characters kinda light and a bit realistic even though this is clearly a drama. I don't get why people who are not comfortable reading about age gaps (when it is already clearly plastered all over the tags and summary) still read this and complain about their age difference. I also don't get why people in the comments loosely say that sensei groomed Aoi. Do they even know what grooming is? Just bec Aoi is a minor and sensei is a full-grown adult who fell in love with each other that already means he groomed Aoi. Whether minor or adult grooming, predators will initiate a very emotional connection with their prey so that they can easily manipulate them and make them vulnerable. Then when that happens, they can easily have access to abusing them (emotionally and sxually). This never happened here. Although it is kinda obvious he favours Aoi a bit coz they have secret meetings and and private tutors, Sensei has his guards and walls up and have mostly kept it professional when it comes to interacting with Aoi. He also turned him down several times.

Anyways, the only time i think he KINDA returned Aoi's confession is after when he was convinced that Aoi's feelings for him was true. I think they both kinda knew that bec Aoi found out he has been hurting himself to keep his sanity in check, which is a sign that have to part ways and maybe he just had to say how he really really feel.

Finally, the fact that Sensei NEVER replied to Aoi's letters not even once in 2 years proves that he's still giving Aoi a choice. He will wait, and Aoi knows he's waiting, but he will never influence his decision by continuously communicating with him. This is not the best out there, but it's actually refreshing not seeing a jerking off when in heat "to help" scene, which is usually a trope in BLs. Aoi was in heat, he laid him in the infirmary and got the hell out of there. I mean finally!

The most satisfying redemption I wanna get from JK is that when it already comes to his high profile comeback match, before it starts/when it's starting, probably something would happen to KD and he is nowhere to be found and he ditches the match just to run off to KD. For me that will seal the deal that KD is much more impt to him than winning and eating his words on what he said they can go their separate ways
